The Gargoyle Warrior (アックススタチュー Akkususutachū, "Axe Statue" in the Japanese version) is an Emblem Heartless that appear solely in Kingdom Hearts II. The Gargoyle Warrior is very similar to the Gargoyle Knight. It has spiky armor all over its body. It attacks by spinning around with its axe. They blend in with real statues in Beast's Castle, and then ambush Sora and friends when they come near!
They are more powerful than the Gargoyle Knight, and have a nasty spinning whirlwind attack with a wide cutting range. And as if it wasn't enough, the Gargoyle Warrior also has a magic immunity, which can mean trouble!

Although it looks like an ordinary statue, it attacks with no warning. Immune to magic, it is skilled in ranged attacks.
Fully avoid its spinning attacks for reaction commands. If timed well, it can be defeated in a single blow.
