:So, you're saying we shouldn't use the "templates" for this like we normally do for the featured articles? I mean, I guess we could, but I don't particularly see a problem with using the templates. I don't think we did that in the past, but oh well. This would be less coding on the main page, plus, if we decide to do the Template:Main Page idea mentioned on the IRC last week, this will make things easier.
