Trinity Guard (トリニティラッシュ Toriniti Rasshu , lit. "Trinity Rush") is a Team Attack that appears in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to team up with Goofy and Donald and rush enemies while behind Goofy's shield.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts III, Trinity Guard is a Situation Command used by Goofy and Sora with Donald as an additional participant. It has a base duration of 20 seconds. When used, Donald and Sora get behind Goofy's shield which blocks all attacks from the front, although the party can still be staggered if hit from the side and back. Goofy, Sora, and Donald are invincible during this Situation Command.
Command | Input | Description |
---|---|---|
Walk (歩く Aruku ) |
Walks slowly in any direction. | |
Jump (ジャンプ Janpu ) |
Jumps high (can only move in other directions minimally). | |
Shield Rush (シールドバッシュ Shīrudo Basshu , lit. "Shield Bash") |
Moves forward and thrusts shield out, making enemies flinch. Can be used as a 4-part combo; the combo finisher is stronger and has a longer travelling range. | |
Finish (フィニッシュ Finisshu ) |
Runs straight ahead, launching struck enemies. |
When triggering a Team Attack with Goofy, the chance of obtaining the Trinity Guard Situation Command depends on the conditions.

---|---|
Before arriving at the Realm of the Gods | 0% |
During the fight against the Satyrs upon arrival in the Realm of the Gods | 100% |
When fighting Earth Core (Tower), Rock Titan, Ice Titan, Lava Titan, Tornado Titan, King of Toys, or Darkubes | 0% |
When fighting a Large Body, Rock Troll, Spiked Turtletoad, or Turtletoad | 80% |
When fighting the Catastrochorus | 50% |
When fighting Marshmallow | 0% |
When Sora is at low health | 80% |
All other scenarios | 20% |
