Edit: My earlier test was incorrect.  The actual damage increase that Critical has is Damage*2 + 10, and this is applied before enemy attack multipliers.  For example, in Olympus at the beginning of the game, with default defense, Large Body's stomp (2.0 multipler) does ((19-8)*2+10)*2 = 64 damage, while a Soldier's punch does ((19-8)*2+10)*1 = 32 damage.{{unsigned|100.16.211.188}}

Seriously[edit]

Seriously, Proud mode doubles enemy damage? Huh, I never knew. --Evnyofdeath 23:54, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, Assault Riders own me for at least 5 times the first time I'm playing KHII in proud mode -.- their normal attack never did hurt that much 17master 02:37, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

In the Beginner Mode section for KHFM, it states that you begin with 8 Guard Up's. Shouldn't this be linked to the Defense Up page, rather than redlinked?
Yes, the dub name should be used."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:56, 1 March 2011 (EST)

I've a question on the Kingdom Hearts requirements: in Normal mode, I know that you need to get all the puppies, gummi blueprints (and any other requirements I'm missing) before you can get the ASAS ending. What about in Expert mode? TamboursNéant Ensemble ! 17:09, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

The list of available difficulties[edit]

Would probably work better as a table."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:22, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Table[edit]

Instead of using images, we should use the ticks and crosses used in the SS template (✔ and ✘) since then we'd be able to add notes without needing to add in small numbers beside it (which is pretty ugly in my opinion). TheFifteenthMember 17:39, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Sort by game[edit]

Wouldn't it be better to organize this page by game, instead of difficulty? That way you could easily compare what each difficulty does. TheSilentHero 21:33, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

dealing half damage on crit kh3[edit]

I don't believe this is the case, after playing tons of crit and proud mode I can say I'm almost sure the damage is the same, can anyone confirm if this is true? At LvL 99 with ultima weapon I deal the same 2 and half bars of damage to data org memebers on both proud and crit so I don't think your damage output is halved on crit. EDIT: With the same abilities and same combo length/modifiers too. Same exact combo and stats. EDIT 2: Unless there's some weird damage scaling at play here?

Difficulty Cheat - Re: Coded[edit]

I might be a bit dumb, but while I know that difficulty in Re: Coded changes the item drops and boss drops, I am not exactly sure how to check the scaling of health and damage when comparing Beginner, Standard, Proud, and Critical Mode together. Does anyone have any suggestions? ZoroCoron14 (talk) 05:53, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

I'll check the Ultimania. TheSilentHero 12:00, 2 May 2020 (UTC)

Kingdom Hearts 3 Critical Test[edit]

Testing the damage taken multiplier: in both cases, Sora has 0 defense, 0 resistance, 0 abilities, and takes a hit from the Bizarre Archer's generic arrow shot.

Standard: 44 damage Critical: 103 damage

Accounting for flooring issues, that means Critical is a 2.33x damage taken multiplier for KH3.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 100.16.211.188 (talkcontribs)

Edit: My earlier test was incorrect. The actual damage increase that Critical has is Damage*2 + 10, and this is applied before enemy attack multipliers. Confusing wording[edit]

For BBS it says that proud makes the player deal half as much damage compared to normal and beginner, while normal mode has (100%) damage and beginner has (150%) damage, so does that mean in proud you deal 50% or 75% damage? does critical make you deal 25% or 50% or 37.5%?

You can't divide two different numbers in half and come to a single conclusion, it needs to just compare the damage to one thing at most. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.19.210.174 (talkcontribs)
