Potential changes[edit]
Should we use images or initials to denote currencies? Should medals be hand-coded into the buy parameter, or a separate cell?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 07:15, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- This is a great problem, since using initials would be M for both Munny and Medals, but we don't have images for medals. I think we can use initials and put medals on a separated parameter. - MateusinhoEX 15:15, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Should Shop Level/Rank be handled through ref notes or set cells? Should there be ref notes for the base shop levels/ranks?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 07:15, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think it's better with set cells. We are trying to put the most info possible on the infobox, you know. Prices and those things don't attract attention on notes. People could mistake them by only references. - MateusinhoEX 15:15, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Should there be N/A buy/sell for Key Items, or should they disappear? If you guys want them to disappear, then we just need to encase those sections with ifswitches for XXXitem#, and recode the thumbnails for the images."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 07:50, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- I think it's better to remove them. Although, if possible, we could put an obtained section in the place. What do you think? - MateusinhoEX 15:15, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- Should the tabbing around the images be removed when there is only one item?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 07:52, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
- I don't think that this makes much difference, only for key Items. - MateusinhoEX 15:15, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Previous discussion[edit]
We could try to expand this template to cover all types of items, like usable and key items.
- No other items have "Rank". We could just have a different but similar template instead."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:58, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
- I think the problem with rank is solved. Also, while working on the Items and Key Items part of the template, we could start to put the infobox on the Synthesis Materials pages. - MateusinhoEX - 12:50, 29 December 2012
- Okay, maybe we really should copy the coding to another page and make some changes to do an item template, because Items has a Sell parameter, but doesn't have a Rank parameter. With the Materials is the inverse in KH2. They can't be sold. - MateusinhoEX - 19:29, 29 December 2012
- We can probably keep the same template, it's similar enough. We can use the emdashes for N/A."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:02, 29 December 2012 (UTC)

Okay, but we'll have to add tables for item cards and item panels. I mean, a table for CoM and one for Re:C. - MateusinhoEX - 12:29, 30 December 2012
- Now, the table covers all items, including item commands. This template can be used as a base to make a Command Infobox, too. In it, we could put an animated Gif of the Command being used. What do you think? - MateusinhoEX - 12:49, 01 January 2013
- Do you think we could already use the template in the Synthesis Materials pages? - MateusinhoEX - 20:06, 01 January 2013
- The template is ready to be used now, but I don't think we should have animated gifs or battle commands piled into the infobox. Having the images throughout the page keeps it an interesting read, and the ability pages need that more than the item pages. Plus, we're kind of reaching critical mass here."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 07:50, 9 January 2013 (UTC)

Notes and References (Test)[edit]
Discussion[edit]
Would it be possible to be able to add images for KH games too? This will help with stuff like key items where we have in-game screenshots or something to add. TheFifteenthMember 14:07, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
- Of course. We haven't added because KH items don't have images, but as we have some for Key Items, I can add the parameter. EDIT:Parameter added.- MateusinhoEX 15:50, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
Image Problem[edit]
On the Torn Page article, the image on the kh2 parameter does not work properly. It automatically adds a vertical bar after the "File:Torn Page KHII.png". Anyone know how to fix this? TheFifteenthMember 15:26, 28 June 2014 (UTC)
- Is it possible to resize images to prevent this from happening? TheFifteenthMember 15:26, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
Re:coded #if: tags[edit]
Can someone add an #if: tag for the Re:coded image parameter for the benefit of key item articles? I attempted this myself, but I couldn't figure it out. TheFifteenthMember 17:04, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
Nihongos[edit]
For the benefit of articles like Struggle Trophy and Old Book, can changing tabs (item1, item2, item3 etc.) also change the romaji and kana below? It would be good if this is made using an #if statement so it doesn't mess with other articles that already implement the item infobox. TheFifteenthMember 00:56, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- For the time being, we've been using <br> tags. See how Neumannz fixed Old Book for the same problem. Xion4ever 02:37, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
- That works okay in some cases but Struggle Trophy isn't doing as well. A confusion to add here is a japname for only one of the items while the other two are blank. Don't get me wrong, the template is still possible to understand but altering the template will make it much more comprehensive. TheFifteenthMember 14:28, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
Have you considered using more than one infobox? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 22:58, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
- That's what I tried here but the tabs would always be aligned to the wrong place. Any ideas on how to fix it? TheFifteenthMember 11:09, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
Well, yeah, maybe. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 21:35, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
DDD and BBS images[edit]
Since real items have images but item commands don't, could the "BBSimage" and "DDDimage" parameters be made optional to suit both cases? TheFifteenthMember 11:22, 21 September 2014 (UTC)
BBS Currency[edit]
Following how other games use an icon of munny to represent the currency, BBS should do the same since there's a need to distinguish what costs munny and what costs medals. TheFifteenthMember 13:46, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- Taken care of. According to the existing code, to distinguish medal cost, you use
{{{BBSbuym}}}
14:28, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
Thanks. Maybe the same code should be added to all the other games, even if there's only one currency (KHD, RCO)? TheFifteenthMember 20:11, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
- This should work. I used this image for Heart Points. TheSilentHero 06:30, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
Rounded corners[edit]
We need to add if tags to the code to locate proper rounded corners."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:15, 27 March 2019 (UTC)
Avoid adding Item category[edit]
Is there any way of having this infobox avoid placing the page on the respective game's item category? Because key items are currently placed in both the key item and the item categories, when it only needs to be in the former. --TheFifteenthMember 20:06, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
