Water Boost (ファイアアップ Wōta Appu , lit. "Water Up") is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and Kingdom Hearts III. It increases the damage the user inflicts with Water-based attacks. It can be multi-installed to increase its effects.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Water Boost is a stats ability that can be equipped up to three times. It boosts Water-type damage by 10% for each Water Boost ability equipped.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Water Boost is a support ability that costs 4 AP to equip. It boosts Water-type damage by 20% for each Water Boost ability equipped.
Learning Water Boost[edit]
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance[edit]
- Sora and Riku can purchase Water Boost from the Fin Fatale Ability Link for 30, 50, and 100 Link Points.
- Sora and Riku can purchase Water Boost from the Fishboné Ability Link for 30 and 50 Link Points.
- Sora and Riku can purchase Water Boost from the Sir Kyroo Ability Link for 30 and 50 Link Points.
- Sora and Riku can purchase Water Boost from the Zolephant Ability Link for 30 and 50 Link Points.
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
- Sora learns Water Boost at level 18 with the Power of the Warrior, level 12 with the Power of the Mystic, and level 28 with the Power of the Guardian.
- The Master Medal has Water Boost as its equipment ability.
- The Water Cufflink has Water Boost as its equipment ability.
