Item Boost (アイテムアップ Aitemu Appu?, lit. "Item Up") is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts II. It increases the effectiveness of recovery items. It can be multi-installed to increase its effects.

In Kingdom Hearts II, Item Boost is a support ability that costs 2 AP to equip. Item Boost increases the effectiveness of restorative items used in battle by 50% for each Item Boost equipped. Item Boost only applies to items used by the character it is equipped to.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Item Boost is a stats ability that can be installed up to three times. It increases the amount of HP restores by Item Commands and Break Time by 10% for each Item Boost equipped.
