After a bit of discussions, I think we should go ahead and vote on whether we should feature Unchained updates on the front page. It'll help bolster the effort to start including more information on the game - from medals to guides - and it'll give us the advantage of being pretty much the only KH oriented fan-run site that actually posts regular game updates. --Webber22 (talk) 02:25, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
I like this idea. I vote go for it. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 02:32, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
What ideas do you have? What would it look like? Are you talking about the notices that pop on the screen before the games starts or any update that SE hands out? Chainoffire 04:53, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- I made an edit to the front page that was changed back a few days ago. This'll give you an idea, though it's missing the image. --Webber22 (talk) 16:09, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
I think we even could directly link these updates here. I'm all for more Unchained coverage. --ShardofTruth 12:58, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- I agree with covering Unchained updates. However, it should not replace the Featured Project section, as in the example, since that is the only still active Featured item. Also, I think we should not cover updates and stuff in the Trinity Archives if we're going to cover them in a special section. TheSilentHero 17:22, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- That was the initial idea. The reason why I got rid of the featured project page at the time was because it stagnated for two years. --Webber22 (talk) 19:19, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- It may have showcased a project that's from two years ago, but the featured project itself is very active. Also, I'm against using the section as a news feed for khux (there's a trinity archive for that), it should be a centre for all tasks/projects for editors to work on khux. Hm. Current consensus is 4 to 1 in favor. No one else chipping in? --Webber22 (talk) 20:28, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- Here's an idea. We leave the Featured Project alone, take a little space from the Trinity Archive (maybe just leave the latest three news) and put incorporate the Unchained notice list in the space that's left to show the newest entries. --ShardofTruth 08:37, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
- ....all those screenshots I've been taking of the notifications were pointless. Good to know."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:41, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, that could work and look nice. I'll give it a try right now actually. --Webber22 (talk) 04:03, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
Re-raising the point that the UX home page spot shouldn't be a place for recent news (that's more in the KHUX Wiki's alley and major stuff would be in the Trinity Archives anyway). I think it should advertise the different forums, discussions and projects related to KHUX that we need to done. (Although we need more structured projects/to do lists to do that first.)
