Prize Plus (プライズアップ Puraizu Appu , lit. "Prize Up"), also called Jackpot or Prize Power, is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It increases the number of prizes earned in battle.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts, Jackpot is a support ability that costs 2 AP to equip. It increases the amount of HP prizes, MP prizes, and Munny dropped by enemies, Bambi, or props based on the amount of Jackpot abilities equipped to the current party. The amount of prizes is increased by 1.5x when 1 party member has Jackpot equipped, by 2x when 2 party members have Jackpot equipped, and by 2.5x when all 3 party members have Jackpot equipped.
In Kingdom Hearts II, Jackpot is a support ability that costs 4 AP to equip. Jackpot increases the amount of prizes, excluding prize boxes, dropped by enemies according to the formula 1 + (0.5 x the number of Jackpot abilities equipped by party members particiapting in battle). When using a summon with the Wishing Lamp equipped, the effect of 2 equipped Jackpot abilities will be used.
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Prize Power LV1 and Prize Power LV2 are equipment abilities. Prize Power LV1 increases the amount of HP recovered from HP prizes by 1.33x, while Prize Power LV2 increases the amount of HP recovered from HP prizes by 1.67x.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Prize Plus is a Gummi Ability that costs 3 AP to equip, and can be equipped 1 time. It adds an additional small prize to the drops of enemies and gimmicks. Enemies and gimmicks that only drop large prizes are unaffected. Teeny Towers and Dazzlers don't usually drop prizes, but drop 1 small EXP prize with this ability equipped.
