I've noticed that a lot of my changes are being reverted. And of course, even though I try my best to add details to most of the articles, well, I guess I'm just doing nothing but having people clean up after me getting annoyed. I've already been banned on one other wiki for that once, and I wonder why no one is banning me already. People/admins are clearly not accepting my changes, and I would technically be wasting their time. And no, I'm sadly not confident in that I'm going to make better changes; I've done much of the same crap you've had to clean up over and over again. --SneaselSawashiro (talk) 19:17, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

:EDIT CONFLICT! YAY!
:Hi there, I'm KeybladeSpyMaster, one of the administrators here at the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. I've gone over your contributions over the last two weeks. Some of them (like the difference in Japanese and English voice actors for Roxas) are rather trivial and unnecessary, for which reason they were reverted. Others, like your edit reverted just now on Magic Hour, could be tied to the lack of evidence that your edits are true. This wiki prides itself on being the most professional and correct, and to achieve that goal, it has a notable requirement for proof before making any controversial edits. You are always free to argue your case for any specific edits. For example, regarding your edits to Magic Hour, if you can prove that Roxas and Data-Roxas are legitimately using Magic Hour (via a video of the gameplay, for example), then your edits could be restored. Sometimes, we're just wrong on what we know of the series. Just because we're administrators or veteran users doesn't mean we know everything on the Kingdom Hearts series (though we do make an effort to). Here's an example: over the weekend, one of our editors reverted and edit that claimed Ventus's heart didn't affect Sora's ability to wield the Keyblade, and instead allowed him to dual-wield. The editor that made the claim was right (it was in an interview with Tetsuya Nomura following the release of Birth by Sleep), but because there was no proof, the edit was reverted. We didn't know about the interview or what Nomura had said. When we did find the interview that affirmed the claim, the edits were restored, along with the proof for future reference.
:In any case, I do not believe in a ban solely for editing mistakes like this. I believe that if you're willing to change and improve your edits, providing proof and, if needed, making your case on an edit you made, then there is no reason to ban you. We don't ban people who are willing to improve; we ban people who are blatantly editing destructively, who make no effort to improve and instead try and cause conflict. I do not believe you are one of those people. If you have any questions or concerns on editing here, just ask me on my talk page, and I'll be happy to help. 20:16, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Well, here's some truth I got on the Data-Roxas end:
I do have Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded on my R4 which I can no longer use due to a broken L button and one touch screen being screwed up on two different DS Lites. I do have Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance ever since my birthday (Dec 17, go and hunt me down and kill me like a stalker if you please).

I would like to back up a few things via Kingdom Hearts 3D like with Sonic Blade not providing any invincibility, but of course, no fool would ever try to even get hit while using that attack in the first place. Perhaps if only I could find some way to post a video of me playing....

Then again, I've made a New Game Plus on Proud Mode (first mode I played on first playthrough), and I'm still stuck in Traverse Town trying to grind my spirits for the main abilities and commands I've had on both Sora and Riku.... --SneaselSawashiro (talk) 06:10, 16 January 2015 (UTC)

:You should know that your edits are being reverted because "Revenge Value," while an interesting concept that probably does exist within the game coding itself, doesn't officially exist in the Kingdom Hearts series. Please try to avoid fluff phrases like "should be noted", or making asides in parantheses. We should try to make the articles as concise as possible, so we should assume, for example, that the reader already understands that the material in a boss's "Strategy" section is advice, and doesn't need to be explicitly told that it is advice. :::I hope I'm not frustrating you with my rewrites, but just in case I am, here's my main points of concern:
*Please make sure that the material is as concise as possible. In a strategy section, you don't really need to spend time saying something is "difficult", or telling the reader to be careful -- the fact that it's a strategy section already makes that clear. Instead, focus more on the bare facts of the technique, and what's needed to counter it. If that information is already listed as a stat, then we don't need to repeat it.
*If something is different in one game from in the others, see if you can convey that information in the others as well. For example, noting that the latest game allows the player to use a technique in midair is more useful to more readers if we convey that, in the previous ten or so games, they can't -- that way the information's not hidden in a section that they might not think they need to read. In general, try to avoid conveying information by relying on comparing it to something else -- see if you can describe it first on its own merits. 01:38, 6 April 2016 (UTC)

Derp, I meant to say part-way tilting on the control stick so that you slowly move forward; however, you have a bit of a point if you changed it back since I only tested this on KH1. Guard works like that if you have it equipped with Dodge Roll; a full run is what allows Dodge Roll to come out instead of Guard (full-way tilt). :The goal of giving lits is to give the most accurate translation to the context as well as the actual word; for example, the description for Minagiru items talks about energy surging through the gem, so "Surging" is probably the closest of the valid translations to what the design team intended. We also give the benefit of the doubt to localized names -- if they are valid translations of the words, even if we, by personal preference, would have translated them differently, we use those translations. 16:07, 8 December 2016 (UTC)

Words
Dude, you have to stop making up terms like "energy tunnel", "hovering pace", "orbiting-energy-orbs", or "magic ability". They make no sense and are generally irrelevant to the mechanics sections. 17:55, 15 January 2019 (UTC)

Critical Hits
I notice you keep adding that certain abilities are critical hits, but also that they don't actually get the critical hit bonus damage. How then are they critical hits? If those attacks are always a critical hit, but don't get any bonus damage, then there's absolutely no difference between being a regular hit, so what makes you think they are critical hits? 13:47, 4 July 2024 (UTC)
::Derp. Lately though I'm starting to notice that Ripple Drive indeed doesn't crit, but Zantetsuken and Gravity Break clearly do. Though I have to do some more testing once I get access to most of the post-game via my current save file, as well as properly identifying the unique crit sounds for each Keyblade. I thought the red rings emitting from Ripple Drive upon impact and from Sora himself were of the Kingdom Key's crit effect but I was wrong. --SneaselSawashiro (talk) 09:56, 21 July 2024 (UTC)

EDIT CONFLICT! YAY!
Hi there, I'm KeybladeSpyMaster, one of the administrators here at the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. I've gone over your contributions over the last two weeks. Some of them (like the difference in Japanese and English voice actors for Roxas) are rather trivial and unnecessary, for which reason they were reverted. Style[edit]

Also, remember that numbers below one hundred should generally be spelled out."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:02, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

Also, please attempt to be grammatically correct when editing. A big reason why I revert a majority of your edits is because they are filled with grammatical errors, thus ruin the articles' professional, clean nature. I notice that, in particular, you tend to leave out commas, creating incorrect, run-on sentences. - Challenge Sigil KHD.pngEternal Nothingness XIIIChallenge Sigil KHD.png 01:58, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
I hope I'm not frustrating you with my rewrites, but just in case I am, here's my main points of concern:
 • Please make sure that the material is as concise as possible.
 • If something is different in one game from in the others, see if you can convey that information in the others as well. For example, noting that the latest game allows the player to use a technique in midair is more useful to more readers if we convey that, in the previous ten or so games, they can't -- that way the information's not hidden in a section that they might not think they need to read. Grammar issues[edit]

When making substantive edits to sections, as you did with Sora and Riku, could you please write them up as a draft in your userspace first? There's a lot of grammar errors in what you're writing, that you'll need another editor to copyedit for your first."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:29, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

Words[edit]

Dude, you have to stop making up terms like "energy tunnel", "hovering pace", "orbiting-energy-orbs", or "magic ability". They make no sense and are generally irrelevant to the mechanics sections."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:55, 15 January 2019 (UTC)

Critical Hits[edit]

I notice you keep adding that certain abilities are critical hits, but also that they don't actually get the critical hit bonus damage. How then are they critical hits? If those attacks are always a critical hit, but don't get any bonus damage, then there's absolutely no difference between being a regular hit, so what makes you think they are critical hits? Derp.
