: (late, but) In the Japanese version of Birth by Sleep, the way Eraqus describes the fate of visitors to Castle Oblivion is "訪れた者はすべてを忘却の彼方に失う", which translates as "visiting people will lose everything to the other side of oblivion". In this case, the word translated as 'oblivion', 忘却, is more specifically forgetfulness; i.e. people who come to Castle Oblivion will lose their memory. The way the English version has been cut down, along with how the English 'oblivion' can also mean a consignment to nothingness (and for many people only means this), results in the sentence sounding more like disappearances than amnesia. Card System[edit]
Okay, what I noticed is that all the OrgXIII members and Sora have to wait for the cards to reload before progressing, but Riku can automatically reload them. It could be because Sora lost his memory, though it wouldn't be the same case for other OrgXIII members. It could also be because Riku uses darkness, but other OrgXIII members also use darkness.
So what's the actual cause of Riku not needing to charge his cards ? TNÉ En avant Bravo ! 07:21, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

.
But then again, remember that the OrgXIII members can also manipulate darkness just like Riku ; why is it then that they have to charge their cards ? TNÉ En avant Bravo ! 07:29, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

I don't think that there is a story-wise reason for it. Riku's deck is pre-set for each World/floor, so because it's so small the design team probably did it for system reasons. Hyperwre_2.0 18:34, December 8, 2009 (UTC)

what does the article mean by "lost in oblivion?" from the article Aqua honors her master's final request by using this method to recreate the world so that only she knew the structure and layout of it and that any unwelcome visitors would be "lost in oblivion" --Draph91 (talk) 20:46, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
