It's been a long while since the last post, but so far we have seen what has come to us from the Jump Festa trailer which can be seen on the official website. New worlds such as Country of the Musketeers and Prankster's Paradise have been announced among others. A Tron: Legacy World that is yet to be named shows Rinzler about to battle Sora and a mantis Dream Eater that Riku battles. They also get an entire new wardrobe from the early Data Form with the much more modern style of the movie. Along with this information, more members of Tetsuya Nomura's other game, The World Ends with You, appear in this entry of the Kingdom Hearts series, Shiki, Beat and Joshua appear among others. More information from the V Jump magazine of January shows yet another world, Symphony of Sorcery which is a world entirely based off Fantasia, and is the first time we see Chernabog since Kingdom Hearts, it also features Mickey Mouse as a sorcerer wearing Yen Sid's hat.

In merchandise, there is a brand new bundle for the series's 10th anniversary featuring Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, 12 Postcards representing the history of the series visually, a protective case for the 3DS and the box with a special 10th anniversary design, you can check it out here. Along with this there is also a special limited edition, Japanese 3DS available to buy with the game pictured below. And finally, a Wandanyan plushie is also up for sale at Square Enix's e-store, it costs ¥3,800.

Following the highly anticipated Tokyo Game Show 2011, a ton of new information and images have surfaced regarding Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. As always, a closed-theater trailer was shown, this time featuring Sora in Traverse Town. As in previous games, Donald Duck and Goofy are assisting him as party members. The camera apparently has not seen a tremendous amount of improvement since Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and the "DROP" gauge from previous trailers has also disappeared. Traverse Town has also been reportedly fleshed out, expanding far beyond just the three districts. Importantly, however, the game is focused on the mysterious "world buried in sleep", as well as the Mark of Mastery exam for Sora and Riku. The trailer ends with a scene featuring Xehanort and Braig, suggesting the game's connections to Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.

A playable demo was featured as well, showing Riku interacting with Quasimoto from the world based on The Hunchback of Notre Dame. In this demo, we discover Riku's new double-jump ability. Those who have played the demo say that the combat has improved immensely from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, focusing less on animation-focused commands and more on fluid, smooth battling. Both Sora and Riku have access to something similar to the D-Link as well: the Dual Link, which grants different abilities and bonuses based on the party member.

The game has also been confirmed to have slide pad compatibility, meaning that it will take use of the slide pad add-on to the Nintendo 3DS, which itself utilizes a second analog stick.

The game carries over a motif in the Kingdom Hearts series: Sora searching for a friend, this time Riku. Instead, however, Sora finds Neku, the protagonist from The World Ends With You, another game series created by Square Enix, now incorporating a third franchise into Kingdom Hearts. Neku makes a reference to the "Reapers' Game" from his original game, saying he has only forty-three minutes to live unless if he wins this mysterious game. Sora and Riku also are donning new clothes; Sora's shirt has gone to black, whereas Riku is wearing a very light off-white shirt. Riku's hair has also gotten much shorter since the end of Kingdom Hearts II. These can be seen in the poster in the gallery below.

A new enemy has also been introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance: Dream Eaters. Dream Eaters are new original entities who, just as their name suggests... eat your dreams! This is especially significant in a "world buried in sleep." Two bosses are already known to exist in the game that appeared at the end of the demos for Sora and Riku: a "boxy" enemy with long arms that function as stretchable weapons and a winged flying boss, respectively. There are not the only new creatures, however! Sora is accompanied by two creatures bearing the new crossed heart symbol in this game: a plump blue dog-like creature and an as-of-yet unseen "squirrel-y" creature. Riku is also accompanied by two of these beings: an eccentric, colorful bat and as-of-yet unseen unicorn.

Hopefully this flood of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance information will break through the drought of Kingdom Hearts information in the last several months. Keep checking back with the Kingdom Hearts Wiki to see our Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance database and coverage expand and grow, and for more news to be posted! A gallery of new images has also been provided below:

More news has been released regarding Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, as well as a tidbit about HD development on Kingdom Hearts. Nomura has stated that he will be doing an "HD test" of a Kingdom Hearts title, whether already released or unknown, before the series's tenth anniversary next year.

In addition, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance will have a playable demo at Tokyo Game Show 2011, so look out for videos of gameplay and such in the coming month of September.

The Kingdom Hearts news drought seems to be showing signs of ending, at least to some degree. Kingdom Hearts fan translators have recently finished translating an interview in the weekly Japanese magazine, Famitsu, with Kingdom Hearts series creator and director, Tetsuya Nomura, concerning Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. The bulleted information below has been collected from the scans, and the paragraphs below summarize the interview.
<b>
*Kingdom Hearts 3D is a mysterious title.
*There will be a secret movie.
*The Xehanort Saga will end with Kingdom Hearts III.
*Think of Kingdom Hearts 3D as "The Initiative" before Kingdom Hearts III.
*There will be "answers" about Kingdom Hearts III in Kingdom Hearts 3D.
*Kingdom Hearts 3D is 40-50% done.
*Sora "has not changed."
*The game will focus on the "hidden data" inside of Sora.
*There are characters that will appear in Traverse Town, but their names have been censored. There are two censored names.</b>

The series director has stated that Disney has said that game has a "Japanese feel" in its storyline. While he did consider simplifying the storyline, he was encouraged to keep the complex storyline to compete with other franchises, such as Final Fantasy. Like its basic plot, the game apparently will be designed in a manner that keeps the player thinking and guessing.

The game is about 40-50% complete, and the developing team is currently working on the scenarios in the Disney worlds, which Tetsuya Nomura was somewhat concerned for in being clear enough to understand. He also states that several individual mysteries, both from past games and Kingdom Hearts 3D, will be clarified in the game. The next item on the development agenda is to start recording voices.

Tetsuya Nomura also described a desire to make sure the game is not too drawn out in length and pacing. He plans to introduce a new system to make sure that the pacing is not weakened with lengthy explanations. Finally, he says that Sora fights alongside strange companions in Kingdom Hearts 3D, perhaps suggesting new allies, and that a secret movie is being developed.

Following an emergency roundtable on the IRC, the Kingdom Hearts Wiki has completely revised the way it does affiliations and affiliation requests. From this point forward, interested sites, wikis, channels, etc. should not approach the wiki by contacting one of its major administrators. Instead, we now have a new Requests for Affiliation page, where formal requests to become affiliated with the Kingdom Hearts Wiki shall be made. This helps us keep track of our affiliation requests, as well as standardizes the procedure.

Be sure to keep spreading the word of the new independent Kingdom Hearts Wiki out to interested sites, wikis, and channels! We look forward to gaining more affiliates. In fact, several potential affiliates were discussed during this emergency roundtable. More information on these will be announced at a later date.

Today is a momentous day for our Affiliates list. The Kingdom Hearts Wiki has just partnered with the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance (NIWA). NIWA is a collection of Nintendo-covering wikis that are all independently hosted, much like the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. NIWA's wikis and principles stand against faceless operators and the control of a wiki by those who do not truly monitor and lead it. NIWA spans over twenty wikis and continues to grow as the largest independent wiki alliance. Furthermore, while the Square Enix Independent Wiki Alliance (SEIWA) is being constructed under similar principles, we are very proud to be affiliated with NIWA.

Sadly, the new information regarding Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance we were promised by GameInformer magazine was proven to be false at the end of E3. While the trailer from several months ago was shown at the gamers' meet, no new information, screenshots, or footage was released. Hopefully we can expect new information to be released at the Tokyo Game Show 2011 in September. Until then, the news drought scorches on....

Some bad news today, Square Enix has released their roster of games to be featured at E3 on their official website, and it doesn't seem to feature Kingdom Hearts 3D. This is odd, however we'll see at E3 next week...

A small but important tidbit of news interrupts this news drought--Kingdom Hearts 3D is definitely going to be at E3 next month! The Popular Gaming magazine officially confirmed that the game will be featured at E3 2011. While it is still unknown just what will be shown or presented at E3 concerning the game, we will hopefully receive new information on this upcoming and mysterious chapter in the Kingdom Hearts series. E3 2011 will begin on June 8th, 2011, so there's not much longer to wait! All released information will be reported in the Trinity Archives as soon as they are released, so be sure to check back here after E3!

Greetings from your executive editor! My apologies for the slowness of news; the Kingdom Hearts series is at a bit of a slow point in its history between the releases of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts 3D, but hopefully news will begin to surface regularly again soon. I'd also like to announce that, after this period of slow news begins to lift, the Trinity Archives will begin to take an approach to not only cover news regarding the wiki, but also news regarding the Kingdom Hearts series in a greater depth than before. Be sure to check back often for news updates!

More importantly, voting for possible logos to represent the Square Enix Independent Wiki Alliance has been opened, so be sure to give us your votes or original logo submissions! For those who do not know of it, "SEIWA" is a planned alliance between multiple independent wikis, such as the new independent Kingdom Hearts Wiki, that is currently in the developing stages. As we get closer to finishing our post-Wikia audit, more news about the creation and growth of SEIWA will be released. We are very excited to pioneer such a huge project, so please give us your support and spread the word!

The voting forum can be found here!

Kingdom Hearts Wiki has finally gone independent with the setting-up of a new site at khwiki.net. All official information regarding the Kingdom Hearts series will be hosted here from now on.
Today marks the 18th anniversary of the KHWiki! To celebrate, here's a quick recap of everything that's happened in the last... seven years? Better late than never, I suppose.

The previous site at kingdomhearts.wikia.com is still online, but shall be open to edits involving reasonable speculation.
The Kingdom Hearts series has been quite busy since the last update to these archives, with several new games, multiple concerts, and even more content on the horizon. I did my best to cover the major dates, but there's definitely more that I wasn't able to include. See you in 2031 for the next Trinity Archives update.

Nearly a year and half ago, February 8th, 2009, the Kingdom Hearts Wiki happily celebrated its 1,000th article's creation. After reaching such a milestone, many of us wondered how 1,000 other Kingdom Hearts-related topics would come in the future (or were actually in existence!) that would have their own article. Well, the wait and wondering is now over! Today, user and administrator DoorToNothing created the 2,000th article of the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, Geo Impact! We sure have grown a great amount since February 2009, have we not?

This is to take over Hecko X, who announced that he retires as bureaucrat, and is glad to have BebopKate as she has been an excellent contributor and administrator since her inception by him two years ago. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hecko for all the work he has done for this beautiful Wiki, and hope that whatever future undertakings he takes be laced with success.
June 24, 2019 - The Japanese version of Kingdom Hearts VR Experience was updated with four additional levels, releasing globally the following day.

As for our good ol' BK, with her as Bureaucrat, I hope the wiki will strive to be a more friendlier place; less conflicts and less troubles will allow for good editors to contribute good articles. BebopKate has an excellent track record, and I personally think of her as the KHWiki's loving matron. After about a week of discussion, the Kingdom Hearts Wiki's very own version of the Mirage Arena opens its doors today!
March 28, 2019 - The first Kingdom Hearts novel was published in Japan, with an English release coming out in February 2020.

Similar to the Dragon's Neck Coliseum of the Final Fantasy Wiki, the Mirage Arena is a popularity contest between characters, worlds, places, items, weapons and/or gameplay elements. Two links are placed head-to-head with each other per week, and at the end of four months (i.e. sixteen rounds), all the winners of the previous rounds will be pitted against each other in the one and only Joint Struggle.
January 25, 2019 - Kingdom Hearts III was finally released in Japan! The international version would follow four days later. Also on January 25, the Kingdom Hearts χ novel was published in Japan, titled Kingdom Hearts χ: The Story of You and the Keyblade, with an English translation coming in December 2019.

If you want to go in and be part of the fun, you must have at least seventy-five quality edits in the mainspace, which would be all of the Kingdom Hearts Wiki's articles! To do so, you can hit Special:Editcount and type in your username to see if you've hit the mark. Of course, other factors, like how productive those mainspace edits are, will be taken into account as well when verifying the winner.
January 23, 2019 - Kingdom Hearts VR Experience was released in Japan, coming to North America on February 28, 2019.

Come join in the fun; if you haven't already hit the mark, get editing!

Today is a notable day for the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. Today is the IRC Channel's (#wikia-kingdomhearts) first birthday! Very Special thanks go out to Azul81677 and Yuanchosaan who set the channel up <!--If anyone else help set the channel up, feel free to add their name(s)-->, and to Adola for setting up the channel bot, NumberXVMoogle! Thanks to all channel operators and users; you've made the IRC what it is today! We've had our laughs, our cries, our problems, and much more, but overall it has been one successful year! Here's to another year on the IRC!
<small>Xion4ever grabs copy of Trinity Archives, blowing and knocking dust off of it</small> Whew! It has certainly been a while! Pardon our absence- the real world always finds a way to draw us away...Anywho! What a tremendous year we are having so far! Forgive me if I miss out on a few dates...

June 2010
*January 12/24 (Japan/NA, respectively): Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is released! Although some say Nomura is still stalling for Kingdom Hearts III with yet another HD remake, at least this collection gives us new material! Ever wonder what Aqua did during the time post-Birth by Sleep and pre-Kingdom Hearts? This collection is for you! Ever wonder just who/how the Foretellers came to be? (And what of their mysterious Master?) This collection is for you! Ever want to revisit the realm of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance on a big, flat screen TV instead of the small 3DS screen? This collection is for you!

With the coming of E3 came announcements of new titles and demos for many video game series, including Kingdom Hearts! Tetsuya Nomura and the Square-Enix booth announced the production of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts 3D, as well as gameplay and an English trailer for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep! Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is a remake of Kingdom Hearts coded, but ported to the Nintendo DS! It also is set to include new features, such as multiplayer gameplay, the Deck Command system, and a new secret movie! Kingdom Hearts 3D is a game set to be released on the soon to be released Nintendo DS 3D, capable of three-dimensional gaming! While the placement of Kingdom Hearts 3D in the Kingdom Hearts timeline is very questionable and debateable, it is known that it is being developed by the same team of experts that produced Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and that we will have the chance to not only play as Sora, but Riku as well!
*March 10: Starting on this day in Japan is the premiere of the "Kingdom Hearts World Orchestra Tour!" This short tour features the music of Kingdom Hearts, encompassing many themes and pieces fans are sure to recognize. If you haven't listened to the album yet, you are sorely missing out! Many of our favorite themes have been smashed into longer multi-movement works that hit on most of the largest characters and events in the series. While some pieces have been merely re-arranged, such as "The Other Promise," some pieces are given their first orchestral cover- Aqua's Theme, the Vanitas battle theme, and so on.

*March 28: Perhaps the biggest announcement to appear on this update is the 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE KINGDOM HEARTS SERIES!!!!!! That's right, folks! For fifteen blessed years we have been graced with a time-traveling story of a bunch of people running around with Disney/Final Fantasy characters and keys. To celebrate the occasion, a port of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX have been released for the PlayStation 4!  So, what has been your fondest memory of the series thus far? Favorite character? Be sure to let us know over in the forums! As if this day couldn't get any better, the final volume of the YenPress release of the Kingdom Hearts II manga is set! While the front cover art was leaked today, the actual volume won't be released until later this year on May 23rd.

Also at E3 were demos of the North American version of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, along with the newly released English trailer! New English screenshots are also going to start pouring in to the wiki immediately, so keep your eyes out! Also, seen in the new trailer is the new boss that has been promised: another Xemnas-like Unknown! Just a reminder, the North American version of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is set to have new features included that were not present in the Japanese version, such as new Keyblades, new abilities, and Critical Mode.
*March 23/April 6 (Japan/NA, respectively): Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is released! Picking up where Kingdom Hearts χ left off, explore what happens to the Player after surviving the Keyblade War. Although a recent release, the story is already twisting and turning ala Nomura-Kingdom Hearts fashion, leaving us with many questions and speculation.

*April 1: Grab some sea-salt ice cream and some of your Wiki-friends and find the closest clock tower! The Kingdom Hearts Wiki celebrated its 11th anniversary! Being the number one encyclopedia for all things Kingdom Hearts, it is a momentous day for all KHWikians and friends! Thank you to our hardworking users for all that they do! From our veteran staff to our newest of users, this Wiki is what it is because of every individual! And, a hearty thank you to our readers for giving us a reason to keep going. So, celebrate! Let us all continue to chronicle this epic journey until the end!

Below are the new trailers for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, as well as three screenshots from Kingdom Hearts 3D!
*May 2: Being the music lover that I am- I mean seriously, that's what my university degree is in- it is exciting to see The Other Promise featured on Classicfm's top 300 songs of the year! Placing at number 119, it is very exciting and awesome to see not only Yoko Shimomura, but also video game music to get the respect/publicity they deserve. Although not as high placing as previous years, The Other Promise still managed to "beat" many standard repertoire in the music world.

{|border="outset" width="100%" style="text-align:center; -moz-border-radius:10px"
*May 2 and 3: Kingdom Hearts II is featured in both IGN and Game Informer Magazine's "Top 100 RPGs of All Time!" The game placed 86th on IGN, and 25th for Game Informer. If you look closely at the cover of the June issue of Game Informer, you can make out a small Keyblade-wielding Sora in the center.

*May 11: Kingdom Hearts III <big>DRUMROLL PLEASE</big> is (yet again) pushed back regarding a release date. As seen here, Kingdom Hearts III is pushed to the back burner, with a potential release date in 2018...or later. Back to the waiting game for fans, it seems. Hope no one lost too much munny on betting when it would come out this year. Perhaps more information (and trailers!) will be revealed at this year's E3?

In case you haven't seen it yet, Game Informer has done an interview with Tetsuya Nomura about Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and a few other upcoming releases. Unfortunately, the interview refutes earlier information that stated Kingdom Hearts III is currently underway, but does contain some interesting tidbits, including the fact that the North American release, as per other Kingdom Hearts games will have bonus features not found in the original Japanese release, including at least one extra enemy.
*Did you ever want to high-five or write Tetsuya Nomura a note? Want to thank him for all that he has done/yet to do? Or would you just like to say hello? If so, you're in luck! Check out KHWiki:Photobook for more details. Don't miss out on an opportunity like this!

Today is another day of sorrow and lament for all Kingdom Hearts fans. Just today, the voice actor Eddie Carroll passed away. Eddie Carroll has been the voice actor for the lovable Jiminy Cricket, both in Walt Disney films and in all of his appearances throughout the Kingdom Hearts series. He has been Jiminy Cricket's voice actor for over thirty years, having provided his voice in three Walt Disney films.

As of yet, it is currently unknown who will replace Eddie Carroll as the voice actor for Jiminy Cricket. We wish him the best; he touched our hearts with his talented voice acting for Jiminy Cricket, and shall always be remembered as an adroit voice actor.

Today is another momentous day for the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. Today, we celebrate our fourth birthday! Thanks to every single editor and contributor who has contributed even one time to our growing database; you have all helped get the Kingdom Hearts Wiki to where it is today! Here's to another great year of editing!
Today we celebrate our wiki's grand 10th anniversary! We thank all our editors that have worked tirelessly to get us to this point and in celebration of this milestone, we're holding a number of special events across the wiki and beyond!

In addition, a recent interview with various leaders of Square-Enix's departments revealed the story behind <span style="color:fuchsia;">Kingdom Hearts: Sora Florida Meets Hannah Montana</span>! Glad we dodged that bullet, eh? I wonder if anyone can hunt down one of the rare and elusive copies of the game that is still in existance...?

In a recent interview, series director Tetsuya Nomura has stated that there will be three new Kingdom Hearts games in the near future. Two of these will be spin-offs to the main series, and the third will be the long awaited Kingdom Hearts III! That's right, all of you fan-fiction-creating fans, it has finally been announced! Even better, Tetsuya Nomura has stated that Kingdom Hearts III will not be the end of the Kingdom Hearts series; there will be much more to come! One of the two spin-offs is expected to be released this year, but Kingdom Hearts III will not be released until Final Fantasy Versus XIII is released, the current project of Nomura's team.

After a large spot of newslessness, Square-Enix has launched not just one, but two official sites for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep in North America and Europe. The first of these is the long-awaited North American site. Currently, it is bare of any new information or screenshots, though it does have a very beautiful and creative display. Expect this site to update with the North American screenshots, gameplay information, and trailers of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
This is a bit late being mentioned over here, but...

The second site that Square-Enix recently launched is something new: a Uninversal English site. The site links to information on the game for different countries in Europe, as well as the United States. This port site is assumed to contain links to the European sites once they are launched.
This past Thursday, on June 11th, Christopher Lee passed away. Many will recognize Lee for his portrayal of Count Dooku from the Star Wars series. For Kingdom Hearts fans, however, we recognize Lee for voicing DiZ/Ansem the Wise. It is with great sadness to hear of Lee's passing. Mere words cannot express our gratitude and thanks for his contributions. Thank you.

Lastly, word of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleeps worldwide diffusion has begun! Square-Enix has officially announced the game for both North America and Europe, and screenshots have been released from the North American version of the game. Expect these images to quickly diffuse across the Kingdom Hearts Wiki!

In the December 2009 issue of Game Informer magazine, the Top 200 Games of All Time list was released, according to the magazine. Kingdom Hearts ranked at 79th, and Kingdom Hearts II ranked at 130th. Both games ranked higher than such popular titles as Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty II, LittleBigPlanet, Pong, and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. The Final Fantasy games, which are heavily related to the Kingdom Hearts series, also did very well, putting Final Fantasy XII at 112th, Final Fantasy IV at 80th, Final Fantasy X at 43rd, Final Fantasy VII at 15th, and Final Fantasy VI at 8th. The list was topped with the original NES game The Legend of Zelda at the top of the list.

The magazine also had a small preview article of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Unfortunately, no new information or images were released. However, Game Informer reports that the PSP game's North American release can be expected around mid to late 2010.

Hi, folks.  We're making some changes to our User Page policies since some folks are taking advantage of our more lax policies.  To make it short and simple, if you have any images that are not Kingdom Hearts related on your userpage, we are giving you a week to save them or store them away elsewhere.  On Thursday, April 9th, <u>all non-Kingdom Hearts images will be removed from the wiki</u>.  It will still be okay to put non-Kingdom Hearts pictures on your User Page, but they must be stored or hosted on another website, such as PhotoBucket.

Talk boxes and user boxes shouldn't be affected by this, so worry not about your colorful cubes and shiny bubbles. ^_^

Welcome to the Kingdom Hearts Wiki's version of the Trinity Archives (not to be confused with the real deal). We will try our best to record what goes on around here on this page and the main page. All major Kingdom Hearts Wiki and Kingdom Hearts-related events will be listed here. The Kingdom Hearts Wiki's staff are the main editors, but regular editors can contribute, as long as they have 350 total edits (check here). The executive editor of the Trinity Archives is Erry.

Xion4ever grabs copy of Trinity Archives, blowing and knocking dust off of it Whew! It has certainly been a while! Pardon our absence- the real world always finds a way to draw us away...Anywho! What a tremendous year we are having so far! Forgive me if I miss out on a few dates...

 • January 12/24 (Japan/NA, respectively): Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is released!
 • March 10: Starting on this day in Japan is the premiere of the "Kingdom Hearts World Orchestra Tour!" This short tour features the music of Kingdom Hearts, encompassing many themes and pieces fans are sure to recognize.
 • March 28: Perhaps the biggest announcement to appear on this update is the 15TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE KINGDOM HEARTS SERIES!!!!!!
 • March 23/April 6 (Japan/NA, respectively): Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is released! Picking up where Kingdom Hearts χ left off, explore what happens to the Player after surviving the Keyblade War. Although a recent release, the story is already twisting and turning ala Nomura-Kingdom Hearts fashion, leaving us with many questions and speculation.
 • April 1: Grab some sea-salt ice cream and some of your Wiki-friends and find the closest clock tower!
 • May 2: Being the music lover that I am- I mean seriously, that's what my university degree is in- it is exciting to see The Other Promise featured on Classicfm's top 300 songs of the year! Placing at number 119, it is very exciting and awesome to see not only Yoko Shimomura, but also video game music to get the respect/publicity they deserve. Although not as high placing as previous years, The Other Promise still managed to "beat" many standard repertoire in the music world.
 • May 2 and 3: Kingdom Hearts II is featured in both IGN and Game Informer Magazine's "Top 100 RPGs of All Time!" The game placed 86th on IGN, and 25th for Game Informer. If you look closely at the cover of the June issue of Game Informer, you can make out a small Keyblade-wielding Sora in the center.
 • May 11: Kingdom Hearts III DRUMROLL PLEASE is (yet again) pushed back regarding a release date.
 • Did you ever want to high-five or write Tetsuya Nomura a note? Want to thank him for all that he has done/yet to do? Or would you just like to say hello? If so, you're in luck! Check out KHWiki:Photobook for more details. Don't miss out on an opportunity like this!

...and that about covers some of the major highlights so far this year. We will try harder to be more on top of updating this. As always, be sure to keep track of the latest Kingdom Hearts news by checking out our friends at kh13.com and Kingdom Hearts Insider!

This is a bit late being mentioned over here, but...

Thank you.
