Debug Areas are special areas existed in the data worlds in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. The areas itself are System Sectors that are corrupted by bugs. Data-Sora can enter the System Sector through the Backdoor and locate the Debug Areas by looking at the map on the lower screen, Debug Areas are colored red, both in the map icon and the actual area. In Debug Areas, Data-Sora must defeat bug-corrupted Heartless (shown by the black coloring and data screens) to restore the infested System Sector. Debug Areas cause glitches in the data world such as the disappeared bridge in data Destiny Islands. By debugging the infected sectors, Data-Sora can remove the glitches that gets in his way.
Debug Areas are special areas that exist in the data worlds in Kingdom Hearts coded. They are replaced by System Sectors in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
