Logo for The Realm of Sleep Forum Archives. I decided to go KH3D and go for a slight magenta/pink accent.

I can't remember any specific sources on these, so I'd like if someone can provide sources:

  1. Are Replica Data Nobodies?
    1. If so, are the data characters from coded and Space Paranoids Replica Data?
    2. Similar question for memory characters from Chain of Memories. In places where we specifically reference the CoM character/enemy should we call them something else? Are they Nobodies, since they are created by a Nobody, or something less?
  2. What does Nomura exactly call the Armor of the Master, No Heart, and Monstro in the BBSFM interview? Does he include Monstro in that description? (By this, I mean that I want some nihongo).
  3. Should we consider "Memories" and "Data" as separate things entirely from the other categories?
    1. By the way, the Days Secret Reports pretty consistently use "humans" (non-capitalized) to refer to normal people, even the Beast. Granted, he was once homo sapiens, but it seems that, like "Heart", the KH definition is completely separate from the real world definition, and that we could apply it to Scar as well.

Again, I'd like sources on #1 and #2. I don't want pointless back and forth about "what sounds right"."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 01:38, December 31, 2010 (UTC)

I don't recall any sources that talked about the nature of the Replica Data. But I will talk about what sounds right! Because that's what I do. You can skip that part if you want.
I think you're confusing "Replica Data" with "Replicas" and "data". (...Yeah.) Replica Data are basically Org XIII's records of its members' battle data. The Replicas, while most likely a related project, since the memories that are implanted are basically the same kind of data, have their own bodies, while the Replica Data seem to be more like solid holograms. The SP programs are independent, sentient constructs of data. The data characters are closer in nature, since they're also data from records/memories. The memories characters might be like that, too. Dunno if it's worth creating separate categories for them.
Personally, I consider the lack of physical bodies kinda against pretty much all definitions of Nobody. Being created by Nobodies doesn't seem like a good criterion. They might be categorized as Nobodies because they're copies of Nobodies, but I wouldn't technically call them Nobodies.

Well, regarding the "human" question, human in Japanese is ningen. However, ningen also can mean body.
noooooo it can't. At least, not according to any usage I've seen.
Well, Neumannz, what I meant is that right now we categorize Replica Data as Nobodies. If they are just data, without hearts, they should just be called "Data", I think. As for the coded characters, do they have sentience or hearts? Does the Ultimania discuss their nature at all?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 03:01, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
I think maybe we should categorize data copies as both Data and whatever the original's category is. So the Replica Data would be Nobodies and Data, Data Roxas would be a Nobody and Data, and Data Sora would be a Somebody and Data. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 03:16, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
