| While using Vanitas as a [[Vanitas (D-Link)|D-Link]], Ventus's Shotlock is changed to a light based version of Vanitas's Dark Cannon, called {{nihongo|'''Dark Link'''|ダークオブリンク|Dāku obu Rinku|lit. "Dark of Link"}}. Whenever Ventus uses Dark Link, Vanitas will always counter using Dark Cannon, making both opposite force clash with each other. The player then will need to either rotate the D-Pad or mash {{button|x}} repeatedly until either Ventus or Vanitas wins the clash.
