Slide is a technique in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind. It allows the user to dodge attacks by dashing across the ground.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Slide is a Movement command exclusive to Terra that has a maximum level of 4. It allows him to dash across the ground to dodge attacks by pressing . Leveling it up increases the distance covered, and the invincibility time. Equipping Slide also allows Terra to equip Sonic Impact. While it covers more distance than Dodge Roll and Cartwheel, the move's duration lasts longer than its invincibility duration, making it less reliable then the others, even at a high level.
In Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind, Slide is a mobility ability exclusive to Kairi that is activated by pressing /
while moving. Slide has more invincibility frames and less end lag than it did in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
