Til then, I'll be in your heart... Attention all members of the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. A few months ago, King Mickey's voice actor, Mr. Wayne Allwine, passed away. Sad by this, another member of the community, Guardian Soul, and I suggested to do something special for him; We wanted to make a music video for him. Another member on the wiki, Troisnyxetienne, will make the video. We want this to be something all of the Kingdom Hearts Wiki members can join into. So, I started this fourm to ask all of you to contribute your ideas to the video before we put in on the Internet. Post your ideas here. Tell us anything you want in the video. Music, letters, pictures, anything at all. The video will be posted on September 29, the day Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days will be released. Before it does, we have to gather our ideas. That is all.

But alass, my creativity has turned off for the day. think think think* Does anyone know if there's a small clip of Allwine in a soundroom recording Mickey's voice? That would show his talent, and put the real face to the voice... I can't think of anything else right now. I'll give it somemore thought though.

For music, I have another idea : Final Distance by Utada Hikaru. Believe me, it works. I actually cried listening to it for the first time. If you're working with screenshots, I can easily handle them as I have both Photo Story 3 and WMM 2, so yeah. ^_^ I can try to assemble something good. I'm a Scriptwriter at Collgege and Me and ENX have made scripts together and have been told that they're very good. If you'd like Me, ENX (If he'd like to), TNE (If she'd like to) and anyone else who'd like to help prepare the script, could write the script. What I mean by script is, what and where the KH Clips will go and anything additional. It's up to all of you making it, but it's just an idea, I'm happy enough to write a Script for him. He deserved it T_T.

Because of my serious wanting to attribute, I'm gonna draw a mourning pic, and make myself an account on Photobucket. It's gonna be Mickey (in his normal clothes) sitting on a cloud, with quotes of his in other clouds, obviously from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, The 3 Musketeers, and Kingdom Hearts 2. I need 1 quote from 3 Musketeers and 2 from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and then a picture of Mickey, and I'll be done. If this is a good idea, can someone please give me some good quotes?

So, you all wish to make a movie dedicated to the deceased voice actor of Mickey Mouse, huh? Well, I am no video editor, but perhaps I could offer a idea to you in helping you create it.

One idea could be to, as kind-of suggested earlier, make a time-line of the MAJOR events Mickey Mouse went through in the Kingdom Hearts series, starting with the retro Mickey in Kingdom Hearts II, then Birth by sleep, 1, 1.5, and lastly, 2. (Im not sure where that one other game would fit in...tell you the truth its actually a game I would rather not play in the series even if given the resources, just doesn't seem very interesting.) The video could depict Mickey's moments when he helps out people, as well as a few other things, then in the end, it could show the picture of the keyblade graveyard ONLY, with the main focus being the kingdom key, fallowed by a message that says,

"Gone may be the voice, but the spirit and memories live on.

R.I.P. King Mickey

(insert birth and death dates of Mickey Mouse actor here)"

And after the credits roll, you could show a very short scene of him that was never shown in the video before, such as before he faught in the Keyblade war with Master Xenort, which would imply that he's not REALLY dead.

Oh yes, and if you want a song to go along with your music video, well...you'd be amazed at the kind of stuff artists on Newgrounds submit sometimes. Perhaps this song could fit in well with the music video...if you chain the memories in the video properly. Don't forget to give the author proper credit!

Before him, Walt Disney voiced Mickey from 1928 to 1947 and then Jimmy MacDonald voiced Mickey from 1947 to 1977. So I don't think we should add clips or images of projects that Mr. Allwine did not voice himself.

I agree we should show some older Mickey shots before we add anything from Kingdom Hearts. My favorite Mickey cut scene was always when he took Riku's hand at the end of Re:CoM. I also agree the last shot of the BBS trailer would be really cool too. If you really want to use Kingdom Hearts music in the video go ahead. None of my favorite pieces are even remotely sad though so I can't really suggest anything. Andie had a great idea. I want to make a fan art picture too. I'll keep it different. I promise Andie!

Now, think about this: do you honestly think that we're going to have the time in just over a week, plus school for most Users, to watch all of those Mickey Mouse movies and collect clips for them? Plus, this movie should only be a few minutes. If we use clips from all of these, then the movie will easily end up being 6-9 minutes. And honestly, do you think that most people are going to want to spend move than five minutes watching a tribute? After all, when you're on YouTube, are you more drawn to watch the videos that are a few minutes or videos that are several minutes? Most of the all-time and daily top videos on YouTube actually don't exceed four minutes. Therefore, for the matter of keeping interest alone, this should not have excessive material. I think a 3-4 minute video is what we should aim for. Therefore, we should only use material from the areas of Kingdom Hearts, so as to be able to include some lyrics, our message, the poems, and something in the beginning, maybe even something describing the way he died.

Here's a neat idea. In the extended ending to the Kingdom Hearts 2 secret ending, a brief glimse of Mickey Mouse was shown at the end of the trailer. Perhaps we could cut that part out and add it to this one, to show that Mickey Mouse is not really dead? Or something similar like that, in which Mickey Mouse makes a brief appearence at the end of this dedication video. Personally, id say the idea I suggested would work best since Birth By Sleep is REALLY the next title in the series expected to be released...--Pkthis 00:28, September 23, 2009 (UTC)

And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 02:43, September 23, 2009 (UTC) So, TNE, let's leave adding certain meaningful lyrics in words to you; after all, you are Mrs. Music Guru. :P As for images and cutscenes, let's use the clip from the end of Kingdom Hearts, in which a silhouette of The King appears raising his Keyblade on the other side of The Door. I also think that we can use some good ones from the set of cutscenes from the "Battle of Hollow Bastion," particularly the ones in which The King is in Ansem's Study and Donald hugs him. :) For the end (before the image made by Xiggie), I think we should ABSOLUTELY use Xiggie's tear idea. Also, we should incorporate The King in the ending of Deep Dive, and then use The King in the ending of "Birth by sleep" after the message or right before. Just throwing in my two cents here. Personally, I think that they are two GREAT cents.
