Captain Gantu vs Gantu

And while I can't read kanji, I saw no characters, kanji or otherwise, pertaining to the word captain. I'd like to have a fluent User confirm this before I change it, though.

It's basically the offical Disney title. None of the Admins or mods have complained, so please leave this as-is. One scan cannot speak for countless other sources. And in actuallity, it was DoorToNothing that made this change for me. So long as the admins and mods are ok, which they appear to be, with it, then I wouldn't worry about it.

Just because we're kids doesn't mean we can't run a business— 18:10, 26 August 2009 (UTC) Still, I think that we should keep his article name as just Gantu! both because we have not seen his title (as a part of his name) in any scans, and also because we never have "ranks" as a part of ones article name! for example, we have Jack Sparrow, not Captain Jack Sparrow, although he prefers to be called that in the movie! We do have a redirect from Captain Jack Sparrow to his article though, and I believe that the same thing should be done here. get my point?

Ill have to agree, if so far there is little or no translation for the "captain" in Captian Gantu then it should stay Gantu until we have a translation where it says so. Besides it isnt a major problem as Xoggie pointed out with Captain Jack Sparrow if were going by that logic then all the Unamed Pirates should be given the names they had in the film.

True, chances are Gantu will be like Clayton or Shan - Yu and be working seperately, as i think most of the villains will in BBS. However Hades and Capt. Whale not Fish

Neutral or Antagonist?

I still think he's an antagonist (though he did later become an ally in the fouth film, as I recall).
