{{yer mom|text=That would be nice, also perhaps some pics of the finished puzzles? It's nice to see things we don't get in the other side of the world XD

A Couple Questions
Nice work, whoever did this. Thanks so much ! Now, to find piece by piece. ^_^ <font color="black">TNÉ</font> <font color="limegreen">Teste-moi,</font> <font color="green">déteste-moi !</font> 02:57, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
:I also made screenshots of the actual pictures in the game, and cropped them. While they are lower quality than these images, they are the actual Puzzles, are the same size (EDGE at least, is different size than the rest of these), and don't have watermarks. I can upload them to replace these images, if desired, or I can upload them as "Name (Puzzle)".<small>Glorious</small> <small>CHAOS!</small> 03:56, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
I think the best alternative for now is to upload them as Name (Puzzle) - at least the rest of us will know what that's for. ^_^ And if whatever I uploaded doesn't correspond with the actual size, then I think we can have it removed, n'est-ce pas ? <font color="black">TNÉ</font> <font color="limegreen">Teste-moi,</font> <font color="green">déteste-moi !</font> 12:13, September 6, 2009 (UTC)
First puzzle : <s>I found some info, but I'm going to play the rest afterwards</s> FOUND
{{TNE|time=09:46, 21 July 2009 (UTC)|attntext=First puzzle (Can someone find a translation ?) - 目覓ぬ (I’m pretty sure I read this but I THINK the second character is wrong. Worse, I couldn't find the closest CJK ideograph to match that). Has twelve large square pieces. See the Awakening-looking thing.
Now imagine these to be the pieces of a telephone keypad (I’ll go according to that order) :
*First piece : HB, In Merlin’s house, above the bed. (Donald’s mugshot, top)
*Second piece : HB, Entrance, ledge near shophouse. (Sora’s hair)
*Third piece : HB, Banister (or wall section, I'm not sure) near the Bailey. (Goofy's mugshot, top)
*Fourth piece : Beast's Castle, Undercroft, top left, back. Accessible by climbing a pile of furniture.
*Fifth piece : Yen Sid’s Tower (Sora’s mugshot). This is a mandatory puzzle piece – a cutscene will be played upon leaving Flora, Fauna and Merryweather’s room – and the first puzzle piece will be acquired. Before accessing this piece in Jiminy Memo (i.e. Jiminy’s Journal), the directions will be displayed, but only once.
*Sixth piece : The Beast's room.
*Seventh piece : Beast's Castle, Underground passage (after the Undercroft), highest point.
*Eighth piece : The Land of Dragons, Ridge. Accessible by riding the air currents and jumping.
*Ninth piece : Beast's Castle, Underground passage. From the entrance, go straight and turn right - you won't miss this one.
*Tenth piece : Beast's Castle, Undercroft, atop a small pile of furniture.
*Eleventh piece : The Land of Dragons, Ridge. Hidden behind some firearms.
*Twelfth piece : The Land of Dragons, Village, on a haystack behind a house. It's in one of the edges of the village - I'm not sure how else to explain.}}

目覚め is "Awakening" or "Waken". Perfect for Kingdom Hearts.
Second puzzle
And I know for "Two Sides", I found one of the pieces in Agrabah, on top of a stall (orange cloth, near palace exit)... but I'm yet to check which one. Same for EDGE - I found a piece in Timeless River, pier, behind the boat ticket counter.
One thing's for sure : for "Dawn" and "Twilight", there are 48 pieces in total, and it'll be difficult for me to tell which piece is which unless I assemble them together, so I'm just going to give the locations for the pieces I managed to get for "Dawn" :
;100 Acre Wood
*Piglet's House, on a tree stump.
*Rabbit's House, right, on the cabbage patch.
;Agrabah
*Behind the Cave of Wonders guardian.
*Chasm of Challenges, course : 2nd floor.
*Chasm of Challenges, course : 4th floor.
;Twilight Town
*On top of the Moogle Shop
;Hollow Bastion
*Postern. That's the only puzzle piece which is within reach.
*Canyon, highest point, behind Sora (lift ??? I'm yet to decipher what I wrote.) <font color="black">TNÉ</font> <font color="#1E90FF">En avant</font> <font color="#00BFFF ">Bravo !</font> 14:51, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

Update for Dawn (new locations) as of 14:00, September 14, 2009 (UTC) :
;100 Acre Wood
*Kanga's House, on a pile of grey boxes. It's the only puzzle piece there, so you're sure to find it.
Port Royal piece
*Jetsam Keep - leading to ship, behind this anchor-like thing.
*Cavern of Remembrance, lower stone pedestal. Accessible by High Jump LV2.
*Cavern of Remembrance, under entrance to Mineshaft.
*Hollow Bastion, Ansem's Study (near entrance to Heartless Manufactory).
*TWTNW, Crooked Ascension (end edge)
*Space Paranoids, front of Solar Sailer.
*Agrabah, Treasure Chamber, first hill of gold to the right.
*Cavern of Remembrance, Mining Area, top of metal shaft (see the first three ? the third one)
*Cavern of Remembrance, Mining Area, top of single yellow vertical moving pillar (near the end of the course).

*Twilight Town: Twilight Town, Mansion and Tower
*Hollow Bastion : Hollow Bastion (Castle), Radiant Garden (City and other outside areas) and Cavern of Remembrance
*The World That Never Was: The World That Never Was (City) and  Castle That Never Was}}

FA icon.png Should there be like, a list of locations for puzzle pieces, as well as which ones they correspond to ?

(Of course, for this I'll have to replay Final Mix+, and that'll probably take place after 10th June...)

That would be nice, also perhaps some pics of the finished puzzles? It's nice to see things we don't get in the other side of the world XD

Maybe you can ask around who else has Final Mix+ and ask for some help?

FA icon.png Mod chip ? Anyway, I'm not sure if Kryten has Final Mix+. And I'm not sure who else might have it......

I know that most of the pieces from the first puzzle (the one which looks like the Awakening) can be found in Twilight Town.

Symbol - Identity Disk.png
FA icon.png These are all the puzzle pictures. I'm not sure what their names are, or what order they are (I know the first, fifth and sixth are correct, and the second one is simply titled "Heart").

The first puzzle The second puzzle (Heart) The third puzzle The fourth puzzle The fifth puzzle The sixth and last puzzle

Six puzzles in total, and the first four come in grids of twelve big square pieces (I think). The last two come in smaller grids (though I'm not sure how many pieces there are in total - I must replay the game).

I'm as good as new! All my functions have been restored! TroisNyxÉtienne

Keyblade-Blk.png List of things to do:
 1. Review puzzle piece locations and make sure they are the same for TNE's and my given locations. If anyone sees something wrong and knows for certain about a location, please tell us!
 2. Figure out how to make a table for Dawn and Twilight since it will pretty long.
 3. Make tables for the Puzzle page without the name of the puzzles as a column since it will be on the tab. Then have Kryten add and tab them on the puzzle page.
 4. Organize the pieces for each world and then make tables for them.
 5. Add puzzle tables to respective world pages.
 6. Celebrate after a long project finished!

A Couple Questions[edit]

Keyblade-Blk.png Will the location of the puzzle pieces be on the world pages as well or will just be on the Puzzle page?

I don't think the image of Sora, Riku and Kairi in their Kingdom Hearts outfits is a puzzle. There is a video on YouTube that shows someone putting the puzzles together, but he doesn't have that one. Also in the video, it shows that the CGI puzzle is called "EDGE".

Here is the link: [1]

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png ^_^ Thanks for reminding me. Meanwhile, I'll remove it if it's not there - I'm replaying at the moment and seriously, I'm having memory lapse.

As for the question, I'm not sure - I think the best thing would be to ask everyone. We're definitely gonna put it on the Puzzle page. But if, say, each world has a complete list of treasure chests, then it should only be fair that we put the list of puzzle pieces too.

Keyblade-Blk.png No big deal, you have been gone for awhile. Welcome back! I was thinking the same thing with having a list like the treasures one so I was just messing around and made this puzzle list for Beast's Castle.

Of course, when it's finished it will have all the names of the puzzles if we decide to use it. Or change colors and whatnot. But for I'll just leave the option open.

Puzzle Pieces Found Locations Notes
Awakening #4 Undercroft Accessible by climbing a pile of furniture.
#6 Beast's Room None
#7 Underground Passage At highest point.
#9 Underground Passage From the entrance, go straight and turn right.
#10 Undercroft Atop a small pile of furniture.
Heart #12 West Wing On Staircase. Please do not confuse this with the West Hall - it's the WEST WING.

FA icon.png Oo, lovely. Wonderful idea indeed. Lemme try this for the first puzzle and see :

Puzzle Pieces Found Locations Notes
Awakening #1 Hollow Bastion, Merlin's house Above the bed.
#2 Hollow Bastion, Marketplace On a ledge near a shophouse. Accessible from the entrance of the world - you'll be sure not to miss it.
#3 Hollow Bastion, Borough On a wall section near the Bailey.
#4 Beast's Castle, Undercroft Top left, back. Accessible by climbing a big pile of furniture.
#5 Yen Sid's Tower This one is acquired once Sora has obtained his new clothes from the Three Good Fairies. Piece #5 is a mandatory puzzle piece: a cutscene will be played upon leaving the room, and this is therefore the first puzzle piece acquired in Final Mix+. Before accessing this piece in Jiminy's Journal, the directions will be displayed, but only once.
#6 Beast's Castle, The Beast's room None
#7 Beast's Castle, Underground Passage At highest point.
#8 The Land of Dragons, Ridge Accessible by riding the air currents and jumping.
#9 Beast's Castle, Underground Passage From the entrance, go straight and turn right.
#10 Beast's Castle, Undercroft Atop a small pile of furniture.
#11 The Land of Dragons, Ridge Hidden behind a pile of firearms.
#12 The Land of Dragons, Village On a haystack behind a house.

Keyblade-Blk.png Are we going to have all five on there like that or do you think that we could do a tab thing like the Enemy templates? Just so it's not all graphs on the page.
Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png How do we add tabs onto that table ? It'd obviously be better if we have tabs, but I'm not sure how. And then again, tabs have had a history of displaying badly on my IE page. Take the example of the Heartless/Boss templates.

 • Tutorial Help (チュートリアルヘルプ Chūtoriaru Herupu?)
 1. Awakening (Puzzle).pngAwakening (目覚め Mezame?) - AP Up
 2. Heart (Puzzle).pngHeart (ハ一ト Hāto?) - Serenity Crystal
 3. Duality (Puzzle).pngTwo Sides (表裏 Hyouri?) - Rare Document (literally "Front and Back", idiomatically means "Two sides"/"Both sides". Basically, pick a synonym you like best.)
 4. Frontier (Puzzle).pngEDGE - Manifest Illusion
 5. Daylight (Puzzle).pngDawn (夜明け Yoake?) - Executive Ring
 6. Sunset (Puzzle).pngTwilight (夕暮れ Yūgure?) - Highest Ribbon

Nice work, whoever did this. Thanks so much ! Now, to find piece by piece. ^_^ TNÉ Teste-moi, déteste-moi ! 02:57, September 6, 2009 (UTC)

I also made screenshots of the actual pictures in the game, and cropped them. While they are lower quality than these images, they are the actual Puzzles, are the same size (EDGE at least, is different size than the rest of these), and don't have watermarks. I can upload them to replace these images, if desired, or I can upload them as "Name (Puzzle)".Glorious CHAOS! 03:56, September 6, 2009 (UTC)

I think the best alternative for now is to upload them as Name (Puzzle) - at least the rest of us will know what that's for. ^_^ And if whatever I uploaded doesn't correspond with the actual size, then I think we can have it removed, n'est-ce pas ? TNÉ Teste-moi, déteste-moi ! 12:13, September 6, 2009 (UTC)

First puzzle : I found some info, but I'm going to play the rest afterwards FOUND[edit]

Symbol - Keyblade Master.png
FA icon.png First puzzle (Can someone find a translation ?) - 目覓ぬ (I’m pretty sure I read this but I THINK the second character is wrong. Worse, I couldn't find the closest CJK ideograph to match that). Has twelve large square pieces. See the Awakening-looking thing.

Now imagine these to be the pieces of a telephone keypad (I’ll go according to that order) :

 • First piece : HB, In Merlin’s house, above the bed. (Donald’s mugshot, top)
 • Second piece : HB, Entrance, ledge near shophouse. (Sora’s hair)
 • Third piece : HB, Banister (or wall section, I'm not sure) near the Bailey. (Goofy's mugshot, top)
 • Fourth piece : Beast's Castle, Undercroft, top left, back. Accessible by climbing a pile of furniture.
 • Fifth piece : Yen Sid’s Tower (Sora’s mugshot).
 • Sixth piece : The Beast's room.
 • Seventh piece : Beast's Castle, Underground passage (after the Undercroft), highest point.
 • Eighth piece : The Land of Dragons, Ridge. Accessible by riding the air currents and jumping.
 • Ninth piece : Beast's Castle, Underground passage. From the entrance, go straight and turn right - you won't miss this one.
 • Tenth piece : Beast's Castle, Undercroft, atop a small pile of furniture.
 • Eleventh piece : The Land of Dragons, Ridge. Hidden behind some firearms.
 • Twelfth piece : The Land of Dragons, Village, on a haystack behind a house. It's in one of the edges of the village - I'm not sure how else to explain.

Today you will be examined for the Mark of Mastery. TroisNyxÉtienne — 09:46, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

11liu53.png ALSO, STOP DANCING. IT'S AWFUL. — 21:57, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

11liu53.png I think one of the characters of the name is wrong as well. Maybe the first or second one.

KrytenKoro - "Space Corp Directive 195—In an emergency power situation, a hologrammatic crew member must lay down his life in order that the living crew members might survive."
"Yes, but Rimmer Directive 271 states just as clearly: 'No chance, you metal bastard.'"

TALK -
That second symbol is in Chinese, not Japanese. Are you sure it's not supposed to be 見? Then "目見ぬ" could be "Stage debut" (or something close to it).
Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png If I remember correctly, there was another radical above the second character, though I couldn't make out which one. See, I knew the second one was wrong...

TALK -
目覚め is "Awakening" or "Waken". Perfect for Kingdom Hearts.

Second puzzle[edit]

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png The second one is easy : it's that one with the cast sitting on a heart-shaped crystal, with a backdrop of clouds, and it's simply called ハ一ト (Heart). Again, it's a grid of twelve equal-sized large square pieces. These are the pieces I've found so far, along with their locations :
 • First piece : TBF
 • Second piece : TBF
 • Third piece : Underworld, Cave of the Dead Entrance.
 • Fourth piece : TBF
 • Fifth piece : TBF
 • Sixth piece : TBF
 • Seventh piece : TBF
 • Eighth piece : TBF
 • Ninth piece : TBF
 • Tenth piece : The Land of Dragons, Encampment, on the left side of a pedestal near Capt Li Shang's tent.
 • Eleventh piece : The Land of Dragons, Village, on a rooftop. It's a pretty low one, so LV1 High Jump is enough for you to be able to get it.
 • Twelfth piece : Beast's Castle, West Wing, staircase. Please do not confuse this with the West Hall - it's the WEST WING.

There. I'll update once I get new information.

 • ??? (maybe 6th) Piece : Hollow Bastion, Marketplace, on the ledge of item shop, need LV3 High Jump.
Symbol Character - Mickey.png

Maybe cut the table in half and add a tab for Dawn Part 1 and Dawn Part 2? That's all I can think of, after all the table is wide enough to suppor four more tabs (two for Dawn and two for the other huge puzzle). Or we could just leave it like that and let the table grow laaaaarge, after all the first puzzle only has 12 pieces and that's the tab that would show first until you click on 'Dawn'

100 Acre Wood
 • Piglet's House, on a tree stump.
 • Rabbit's House, right, on the cabbage patch.
Agrabah
 • Behind the Cave of Wonders guardian.
 • Chasm of Challenges, course : 2nd floor.
 • Chasm of Challenges, course : 4th floor.
Twilight Town
 • On top of the Moogle Shop
Hollow Bastion
 • Postern. That's the only puzzle piece which is within reach.
 • Canyon, highest point, behind Sora (lift ??? I'm yet to decipher what I wrote.) TNÉ En avant Bravo ! 14:51, September 11, 2009 (UTC)

Update for Dawn (new locations) as of 14:00, September 14, 2009 (UTC) :

100 Acre Wood
 • Kanga's House, on a pile of grey boxes. It's the only puzzle piece there, so you're sure to find it.

Keyblade-Blk.png I sort of gave up on Dawn and Twilight. I wrote the locations of some but I thought that won't help when we try to number them. I really want to play through it again and write down the location and what it has on the piece for each piece of Dawn and Twilight.

FA icon.png Numbering Dawn and Twilight is difficult indeed. In fact, the only one I've numbered is the one in Kanga's house (that's #7, and it's got part of Sora's face on it). All I can do for this instant is find the locations.

Keyblade-Blk.png Ok, I will start working on tables but how are we going to do the Dawn and Twilight tables?
Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png I think Dawn and Twilight need to be regrouped in one table... because I believe both have 48 pieces. We use the same tabs as from the previous table ; it'll be easier to navigate. And before the tables we could say something like "The following puzzles contain 12pc each" or summat. What do you think ?

 • TWTNW, Proof of Existence, near the entrance to Naught's Approach.

Keyblade-Blk.png I think the piece that is in Port Royal on the Black Pearl stern is the one I have for #39.

Keyblade-Blk.png I am almost finished adding all the Puzzle templates to their respective world pages but I was wondering if we were going to split any because of areas. Should these areas be separate?
 • Halloween Town: Halloween Town and Christmas Town
 • Olympus Coliseum: Olympus Coliseum and Underworld (I know there are no puzzle pieces in the Coliseum but just asking.)
 • Twilight Town: Twilight Town, Mansion and Tower
 • Hollow Bastion : Hollow Bastion (Castle), Radiant Garden (City and other outside areas) and Cavern of Remembrance
 • The World That Never Was: The World That Never Was (City) and Castle That Never Was

FA icon.png I believe it'd be better put them under their respective world names. If a piece is in Santa's House, say Halloween Town - Christmas Town, Santa's House, for example.

Keyblade-Blk.png Well, I think we split up the treasures on some of these pages and I thought we had to do the same for puzzles.

FA icon.png Hm... tricky indeed ! Okay, if that's the case, then I guess we've gotta split the locations too, to maintain uniformity.

Alternate Strategies[edit]

Master form and fira: Negates the need for glide for every puzzle piece in the first four puzzles or outsude the cavern, twilight town, and twtnw."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 09:23, 26 December 2014 (UTC)

The difficult piece in the Elephant Graveyard in the Pride Lands: add Curaga to the shortcuts, then jump off the ledge and cast it. Sora will get an extra boost, and will grab the piece. UxieLover1994
