Azul and BebopKate have been talking about reviewing our video policies of late. What should be allowed, and what should not be allowed ? Today you will be examined for the Mark of Mastery. • TroisNyxÉtienne

TALK - Here's your cat...and here's your $20...{{{time}}} Is it bad that I'm staying up late enough in my timezone to overlap posts with someone on the other side of the world? Anyway... So far, the only thing that's been expressly disallowed are music track videos due to copyright and hosting issues. I'm also thinking full cutscenes from the game would also be a problem copyright-wise; I'm not sure about clips from things like Final Mix and so on since odds are those will never be released here. Gameplay would probably be okay, if it were a helpful video along the lines of showing someone how to defeat a boss. Chip in your two cents, or krona, or ringgit, or what have you...

My two sen (two ringgit would be plenty !)... ^_^ But wait : there are cases where I've searched for videos including clearly-defined boss battles, but there are cutscenes included with them. When I search high and low for battle-only videos, I find nothing. Like, take the Hades Re:Chain of Memories and Hades KHII videos, for example. These need to be changed, no doubt....... Amy Cotton - Trust in yourself and you can archive anything. TALK - You are better off talking to me here. Yeah, they should. But I am confused about what is going on. I never watch videos on pages. But some YouTube users have put some KH clips to make music videos for some songs from movies or artists such as Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, or even High School Musical.

TALK - Here's your cat...and here's your $20...{{{time}}} Well, if we said no non-KH images on Userpages, the same should probably be said for videos. But I personally would have no problem with, say, an AMV, like I don't have any problems with non-canon KH images on a user page. Unless someone gets ridiculous, of course... Amy, I mean those videos where people just upload the music and put a still shot on the screen so you can listen to the song. Big copyright no-no. AMVs are more of a gray area.

What about non-KH vids ? I've seen one or two people putting them on their userpages. (In my case, I linked out to my blog post.) Helping others always comes before asking others for help. • TroisNyxÉtienne

Ultima - Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. I think users should be able to use any no copyright video on userspace using that weird youtube code, but not upload videos. -

Just because we're kids doesn't mean we can't run a business— {{{time}}} Here's my krona: I think that users should be able to put anything up from Youtube (as long as it isn't just some bullcrap) with the {{#widget:YouTube|id=rKOvvY97B9k}} code... Battle videos can stay! and if there are cutscenes along with them... then we have to replace those videos with others which haven't got a cutscene, ya?

Twoface13 - There's someone with a "key" -- the key to our survival. TALK - No... They'll pay for this! I think if it's supposed to help the article, it should be okay, unless it is totally stupid ( I've seen a video that takes organization 13 and makes them sing I ran over the taco bell dog )

DoorToNothing — I dreamed last night... I got on the boat to Heaven! And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! However,if you were to remove so many of the videos with cutscenes in them, that would be a large negative blow to the articles.

As far as video policy goes, I think we should use something similar to the what the FFWiki uses.

The idea of having an account for the wiki is especially good so we're not linking to dead videos if someone else's account gets pulled. And I spaced about the youtube tags. Yeah, I would be okay with non-KH stuff then.
