Okay, so we need some new mods, as noted in Jiminy's Journal. So far, we've had a nice little discussion going on at my talk page of all places, so I thought I'd move the nominations and discussions over here.

I think two mods would be a good amount to start with; we can add more down the line if we need to. On Saturday at midnight, wiki time, I'll close the nominations and begin the voting. Everyone will get two votes to pick the two they think are best for the job. On Monday at midnight, I'll close the voting and announce the new mods! If we need to add another day of voting to either, due to time zones, the weekend, etc, I might take the liberty of extending them.

I don't think I need to tell you guys this is not a popularity contest, and do make sure anyone you nominate has made significant edits or improvements to the wiki, is good at wiki editing, and is constantly helpful and polite to other editors. Somehow, I don't think we'll have a problem with that. ^_^ BebopKate 01:39, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Guardian Soul Talk. — Don't I even warrant a hello? It's such a shame. The Organization used to be the rope that bound us together. - {{{time}}} Well, I agree with Ultima that neither KrytenKoro or Xiggie should be mods. There's nothing wrong with them, but they haven't spent as much time editing as the rest of the nominees. I believe that KrytenKoro also said that he would be busy on other wikis, so we should probably have someone with more time. That leaves it down to three people, Trois, Ultima, and myself. In my opinion, we should just go with all three of us. I take independent courses now so I'm usually on during the day, and when I am, I don't see Ultima or Trois on until later. If we have all three then we can cover all bases. If it really must be two though, Trois and Ultima. It would be horrible if I voted for myself, and both of them would do fine jobs.

KrytenKoro - "Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life." TALK - Definitely Trois. I'm not familiar at all with Xiggie or Guardian Soul, but Trois has left nothing but a good impression.

Guardian Soul and Ultima for me. They've been the most familiar editors, often tuning up pages and editing the tweaks - and I see how active they are like, every time I'm logged in. (I can't nominate myself.) ^_^ Anyone else ? (The rest of them are good editors too, it's just... they need more mainspace, like Ultima said.) If everyone is agreeing, then the voting seems pointless. I have no problem with continuing though, merely making a suggestion.

Haven't the nominations just been closed ? I have a strong feeling that if we do vote, we're gonna count votes the way we did for Featured Media... See, there are only five of us speaking in this column and voting. I've been trying to draw in many more people and I can't seem to get any further response. Oh well, if all else fails, I guess we might consider asking to cancel the voting process... There are some things even the stars cannot tell me. • TroisNyxÉtienne

Well, since you guys are the only ones who bothered to post and have your voice heard, I'm perfectly fine with what you've said, and in actually in total agreement with you. If there are no objections, Guardian, Ultima, and Trois will be our three mods. Kryten and Xiggie, if you keep contributing the way you've been, I'd like to keep you guys in mind for the future.
