This article is a list of all weapons used in the Kingdom Hearts series which are not Keyblades, the weapons wielded by Organization XIII, nor the Staves and Shields wielded by Donald and Goofy. Unlike those counterparts, the weapons on this list are primarily non-magical, and do not transform from one shape to another at the user's command. In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, all characters and enemies summon their weapons through Cards.

Keyblade wielders using alternate weapons
Xehanort
Before becoming a Keyblade apprentice, Xehanort wielded ethereal blades. These weapons would later influence the Ethereal Blades wielded by his Nobody, Xemnas, and are incorporated into the design of two Keyblades, No Name and Young Xehanort's Keyblade.

Terra
Lea
Terra's weapons seem more inclined to power due to their size and form.
As a child, Lea wields twin flying disc toys. These weapons would later influence the Chakrams wielded by his Nobody, Axel. After being recompleted as a human, he continues to use Axel's Chakrams. The Bond of the Blaze Keyblade incorporates the Chakrams into its design, and Lea is able to Formchange his Keyblade into his Chakrams.

Aqua's Keyblades are more inclined to magic.
Like other children on the Destiny Islands, Sora wields a wooden play sword. During his Dive to the Heart, he chooses from among the three Dream weapons to determine his future path. ===Ventus===
Roxas
Ventus's Keyblades appear to be more turned to speed, agility, and combos due to their smaller, more lightweight appearance.
On Day 96 during his time in Organization XIII, Roxas gets sent on a mission with Xion to help her get back her ability to summon her Keyblade. Roxas suggests she uses his Keyblade for the mission to jog her memory, while he uses a Wooden Stick for the remainder of the mission. On Day 118, he visits Twilight Town during his permitted vacation. While visiting, he runs across Hayner, Pence, and Olette, who want him to practice hitting the ball up into the air with a Struggle Sword.

Sora
Sora is the first playable Keyblade master in the series (by release date). Sora's weapons are all variations of his normal Keyblade with a relative appearance as to where he earned that Keychain, or who he obtained it from. It is noted that his Keyblade abilities become more advanced as the series moves on.

Nobodies
Nobodies
Most Nobodies wield weapons reminiscent of the ones wielded by their superiors. Dragoons can sometimes drop their Nobody Lances upon defeat for Donald to use as a staff.
Roxas/Xion
{|class="wikitable mw-collapsible mw-collapsed" border="0" style="width:100%"
Roxas's and Xion's weapons are Keyblades. The names of the weapons are mostly associated with the pain of parting and loneliness, or light phenomena. Their Joke Weapons are the Umbrella and Aubade, and their fighting styles are similar to Sora's in previous games. The Zero Gear allows them to use a more powerful version of the Kingdom Key; however, Roxas can dual-wield Oathkeeper and Oblivion in Mission Mode when using the Zero Gear with three Ability Units. Roxas and Xion can wield Oathkeeper and Two Become One when equipping the Zero Gear with one and two Ability Units, respectively.

Xemnas
Roxas
Xemnas's weapons are known as Ethereal Blades, which are blades made out of energy. His main weapon in the series are dual blades named Interdiction. His weapons are named after emotion-type terms and some synonyms of the word "magnificence". He mostly uses them in three-hit combos and aerial combos as a playable character. As a boss, he is shown to be more graceful with these than when being played in Mission Mode.  His "joke weapons" are Round Fan and Absolute, Round Fan being nothing more than a large purple Japanese fan and Absolute being a large purple and black Nobody symbol with a heart symbol inside it. Equipping Xemnas with the Zero Gear allows him to use Interdiction, his Kingdom Hearts II weapons.
While attempting to cover for Xion, Roxas chooses to wield a stick instead of his standard Keyblade. Later, while brainwashed and abducted to Twilight Town, he participates in the Struggle tournament, and at one point chooses from among the three bat styles to determine his future path.

Xigbar
Dream Eaters
Xigbar uses ranged weapons known as Arrowguns, a peculiar type of laser gun with traits similar to crossbows and handguns. Many of his weapons' names are based on demonic names and ranged weapon terminology, and several are named after enemies from the Final Fantasy series. Unlike other characters, his attacks have a much longer range and a slight homing ability. However, his attacks are limited by a number next to the "Attack" command. Once the number runs out, Xigbar must then reload, leaving him open for almost two seconds. Xigbar's joke weapons are Dryer and Trumpet, both still retaining the ammo limit and reload features of Xigbar's other weapons. If equipped with the Zero Gear, Xigbar can wield his Sharpshooter arrowguns from Kingdom Hearts II. Xigbar is able to combine his Arrowguns into a single sniper rifle, regardless of what model he is using.

Xaldin
Xaldin can wield six lances in battle although only two are present outside of a combo. Due to the length of the lances, Xaldin's melee attacks have the longest range, barely beating Marluxia's scythe. Xaldin's joke weapons are Broom and Wyvern. Equipping Xaldin with the Zero Gear allows him to use Lindworm, his Kingdom Hearts II weapons.

Vexen
Vexen, like Goofy, carries a shield as a weapon and his main weapon is a pointed blue and silver shield named Frozen Pride. His shields tend to take the name of a glacial period or of a scientific description or term. He has been seen to have high defensive and offensive skills when wielding his shield. His shield, Frozen Pride, has even been shown to have a health bar of its own in the data battle in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. His "joke weapons" are Pot Lid and Snowman, in which Pot Lid is just the lid of a pot and Snowman is a shield that has a snowman in front of a snowflake. He can equip Frozen Pride with the Zero Gear.

Lexaeus uses weapons called Axe Swords, which possess traits of axes, swords, and hammers. Many of his weapons have names referencing poetry, types of trees, minerals, and various other references to nature. His joke weapons are the Bleep Bloop Bop, a simple cartoonish hammer, and the Monolith, a weapon resembling one of the Moai statues on Easter Island, Chile. Lexaeus can use his main weapon, the Skysplitter, by using the Zero Gear.

Zexion
Zexion's weapons revolve around books and written composition terms, with the addition of some type of dark or foreboding adjective. His personal weapon is a lexicon or a Greek dictionary named Book of Retribution and can be used with the Zero Gear. When he is played in Mission Mode, he attacks by smashing opponents with his book. His lexicon has the ability to summon meteors when using his Limit Break and mimic others' attacks as a boss. His "joke weapons" are called Dear Diary and Midnight Snack. Midnight Snack is a sandwich that opens up, and Dear Diary is a white laptop that carries the Nobody symbol.

Saïx
Saïx uses large weapons called claymores that change form in some way when his Limit Break is activated. Most of his weapon names have something to do with the moon or the night. Saïx and his weapons have the highest critical rates and damage of all the Mission Mode characters. His joke weapons are Just Desserts, which is an over-sized banana, and Bunnymoon, which has a bunny head appear when the Limit Break is activated. Saïx can use his main weapon, Lunatic, by equipping the Zero Gear.

Issues: Pete's Weapons in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep; all protagonists should have sections, and also major villains; decide whether enemies and party members should have text sections

Gawrsh, aren't we here because of the picture?

Issues: possibly change this into a table? Also, incorporate information/names from KH Mobile/Avatar Menu

This article is a list of all weapons (武器 buki?) used in the Kingdom Hearts series which are not Keyblades, the weapons wielded by Organization XIII, nor the Staves and Shields wielded by Donald and Goofy. Unlike those counterparts, the weapons on this list are primarily non-magical, and do not transform from one shape to another at the user's command. In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, all characters and enemies summon their weapons through Cards.

Keyblade wielders using alternate weapons[edit]

Xehanort[edit]

Before becoming a Keyblade apprentice, Xehanort wielded ethereal blades. These weapons would later influence the Ethereal Blades wielded by his Nobody, Xemnas, and are incorporated into the design of two Keyblades, No Name and Young Xehanort's Keyblade.

Show Weapons

Terra[edit]

During his apprenticeship, Terra trains with a Wooden Keyblade.

Show Weapons

Ventus[edit]

During his apprenticeship, Ventus trains with a Wooden Sword and inherits Terra's Wooden Keyblade.

Show Weapons

Lea[edit]

As a child, Lea wields twin flying disc toys. These weapons would later influence the Chakrams wielded by his Nobody, Axel. After being recompleted as a human, he continues to use Axel's Chakrams. The Bond of the Blaze Keyblade incorporates the Chakrams into its design, and Lea is able to Formchange his Keyblade into his Chakrams.

Show Weapons

Sora[edit]

Like other children on the Destiny Islands, Sora wields a wooden play sword. During his Dive to the Heart, he chooses from among the three Dream weapons to determine his future path. When he visits Twilight Town, he also participates in the Struggle tournament, wielding a Struggle Sword.

Show Weapons

Roxas[edit]

On Day 96 during his time in Organization XIII, Roxas gets sent on a mission with Xion to help her get back her ability to summon her Keyblade. Roxas suggests she uses his Keyblade for the mission to jog her memory, while he uses a Wooden Stick for the remainder of the mission. On Day 118, he visits Twilight Town during his permitted vacation. While visiting, he runs across Hayner, Pence, and Olette, who want him to practice hitting the ball up into the air with a Struggle Sword.

During his time in The Other Twilight Town, Roxas can choose one of three styles of Struggle Bat, though he will always wield a Struggle Sword during the Struggle tournament regardless.

Show Weapons

Riku[edit]

Like other children on the Destiny Islands, Riku wields a wooden play sword. After being taken in by Maleficent, he acquires a sword known as the Soul Eater, which eventually develops into his Keyblade, Way to the Dawn.

Heartless[edit]

Many Heartless wield their own weapons in battle. Some can potentially drop their weapons upon defeat for Donald and Goofy to wield.
