The Falling Star is a shield that can be wielded by Goofy in Kingdom Hearts II. It can be purchased at Moogle Shops in Twilight Town, Hollow Bastion, and Olympus Coliseum.

Design[edit]

The Falling Star is, true to its name, shaped like a large, five-pointed star. Its edges are thick and yellow with three circular bolts of pins in its bottom and top two corners. The front of the shield has thin, cyan edges that form a five-pointed star with a circle inscribed in it. The points of the star are blue, while the circle is lilac and has a yellow square with concave edges in its center. In the middle of the square is a thin, white "X".

It is part of the set of weapons based on Yen Sid including the Star Seeker and the Comet Staff.[?] These weapons are decorated with moons and stars, and are the second set of weapons available to the party. Like the Star Seeker, its name and design could reference the worlds of the Kingdom Hearts universe, which are represented in the night sky as stars.
