Magic Carousel (メリーゴーランド Merī Gō Rando , lit. "Merry-go-Round") is an Attraction that appears in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to ride on an enchanted carousel while making well-timed button presses to blast enemies with sound waves.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts III, Magic Carousel can appear as an Attraction Situation Command. It has a base duration of 20 seconds. When used, the party boards a carousel that emerges from beneath them, damaging enemies as it rises. The carousel remains in place as it spins with circles of light continuously expanding outward from its center and glowing white when they reach the outer section.
Using Sound Wave has different effects depending on how overlapped with the outer section the circle of light is when used. If a "TOO EARLY" or "TOO LATE" rating was achieved, Sound Wave will fail and not result in an attack. If timed slightly early or late, a "GOOD" rating will be achieved, attacking with sound waves that expand in all directions. If timed just right, an "EXCELLENT" rating will be achieved, resulting in stronger sound waves that expand further while drawing in struck enemies and making them float.

Learning Magic Carousel[edit]
Kingdom Hearts III[edit]
- The Magic Carousel Situation Command can appear when hitting an enemy that has an Attraction indicator.
Origin[edit]
Magic Carousel is based off the merry-go-round attraction type featured at several theme parks around the world. While the concept of a merry-go-round long precedes Disney, the oldest example known at Disney Parks is the King Arthur Carrousel, one of the opening-day attractions of Disneyland in Anaheim, California.
