Critical Boost (クリティカルアップ Kuritikaru Appu , lit. "Critical Up"), also dubbed as Critical Plus, is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. It boosts the user's ability to deal critical hits to enemies.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts, Critical Plus is a combat ability that boosts the user's critical hit rate by a factor of 1+n, where n represents the number of Critical Plus abilities equipped. It costs 3 AP to equip, 2 AP in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix.
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Critical Boost is an equipment ability that allows the user to potentially deal critical hits with any kind of attack.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Critical Plus is an accessory ability that allows the user to deal more critical hits when their HP is reduced to 25%.
