"Critical Crossroad" builds off of the themes introduced in "{{c|Replicas|track}}", and the two tracks together form the base of "[[Dark Domination]]". "Critical Crossroad" heavily features the melody of "[[Raged Awakened]]".<!--Heavily segmented track, a lot of sudden and abrupt transitions-->

Like many of Ishimoto's compositions, "Critical Crossroad" was altered between the in-game version and the original soundtrack album. The album version changes the balance of the song, most notably bringing out the main violin and reducing the bass choir. The in-game version does not loop properly; the album mix attempted to remedy this by including the eight-measure introduction in the loop.
