If the lightning hits metal blox on the way down, it will be blocked from hitting the ground. It is obtained by touching the yellow diamond-shaped power-up, and it has 5 uses.

Thunder Rain (サンダーレイン Sandā Rein?) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, in the side-scrolling areas of Traverse Town and Hollow Bastion. It allows the user to unleash a rippling stream of lightning bolts raining down both ahead and behind them. If Metal Blox obstructs the path between the lightning and the ground, the lightning stops at the Metal Blox and doesn't reach the ground.
