The Save the Queen is a staff that can be wielded by Donald Duck in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts III. In Kingdom Hearts II, it can be upgraded to the Save the Queen+. It is the most powerful staff, and requires the most effort to obtain in the games it appears in.
Design
Unlike other staves, there are different forms of this staff even though it appears in multiple games. The Kingdom Hearts version of the Save the Queen has a long, sky blue handle with an orange pommel. The head of the staff consists of an ornate, orange base with a tall, faded blue diamond surrounded by an intricate, yellow frame.
In Kingdom Hearts II, the Save the Queen has a relatively short, lavender handle with a blue tip. The head of the staff is quite tall and sports an ornate, golden heart in its center. This heart is surrounded by two blue-white wings that coil around the heart's base.
In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the Save the Queen+ is a palette swap of the Kingdom Hearts II version. Its handle is dark red, its tip is violet, the heart is red, and its wings are pale gold.
The name is derived from the recurring sword in the Final Fantasy series that is often one of the most powerful Greatswords and Knightswords.
