As the Royal Magician of [[Disney Castle]], Donald wears a long navy jacket, which has a blue addition to the bottom that covers the lower half of his body. The sleeves are long and resemble those of a sweater, sporting vertical creases. The jacket has two large, yellow buttons down the front, a gold-lined pattern of ovals, rather resembling Mickey Mouse's ears, on the lower half, and a blue belt tie around the waist. His hat resembles a stereotypical witch's hat, as well as the hat on his Mage's Staff. It is dark blue, has a wide brim with gold lining, and the tip curls in a very angular fashion. | |||

This is a list of Donald's forms in the Kingdom Hearts series.
Game clothes[edit]
Classic outfit[edit]
In the end of Kingdom Hearts and the beginning of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Donald wears his classic Disney outfit, consisting of a blue sailor's outfit with white accents, a red bow tie, and a blue beret-styled hat. In the beta version of Kingdom Hearts, this was Donald's default uniform.[1]
Royal Magician outfit[edit]
As the Royal Magician of Disney Castle, Donald wears a long navy jacket, which has a blue addition to the bottom that covers the lower half of his body.
Donald wears this outfit in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts coded.
Adventure outfit[edit]
Donald's standard attire consists of a blue hat and matching vest with yellow accents, each with a buckle and zipper. He also wears a short blue cape and a pair of gold bangles. Donald wears this outfit throughout the majority of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts Union χ, Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory.
World changes[edit]
Atlantica version[edit]
In Atlantica, Donald's lower body is replaced with that of a cephalopod. He has six tentacles, all of equal length, and lacks the two longer tentacles characteristic of squids. The top halves of his tentacles are cyan, while the underside is yellow. Donald does not wear any clothing in this form. Because Donald is a mage, it is likely that Donald's Squid Form is derived from the sea witch, Ursula.
Journal entry[edit]
Kingdom Hearts II[edit]
The Wise Little Hen (1934)
The Royal Court Magician. He's traveling the worlds in search of clues to the whereabouts of the King.
In his previous travels, Donald and his friends helped to defend Atlantica from Ursula, the sea witch.
Halloween Town version[edit]
In Halloween Town, Donald's appearance is altered heavily. His entire body, save for the tips of his toes and his beak, is covered by mummy-like bandages, and a gap between his stomach and waist reveals that there is nothing under them. A similar gap is located between his right elbow and wrist. Donald's beak and feet become less vibrant in color, the feathers on his tail and "hair" look sharp, and his eyes gain a thick, black outline around them, similar to ancient Egyptian eye makeup. In this form, all abilities learned previously by Donald can be used with no negative or positive effect on them.

Kingdom Hearts II[edit]
The Wise Little Hen (1934)
The Royal Court Magician. He's traveling the worlds with Sora and Goofy in search of the King.
Not long ago, he helped unravel Oogie's scheme to take over Halloween Town.
Christmas Town version[edit]
In Christmas Town, Donald resembles a typical snowman, with a white body that seems to be made of two large balls of snow stacked on top of each other. His arms seem to be made of branches, his tail is a small, red gardening trowel, and he has two coal "buttons" on his chest. His legs and head appear unchanged, and he wears red and white spats on his feet, a scarf with red and green stripes around his neck, and a blue shako in place of his usual hat.
Journal entry[edit]
Kingdom Hearts II[edit]
A Magician who serves His Majesty. He and Sora join together to search for the missing King.
At first, he was reluctant to serve as Santa's bodyguard, but once he stepped foot in Christmas Town, he was more than willing to take on the role.
Pride Lands version[edit]
In Pride Lands, Donald is transformed into a tropical bird. He retains his blue hat, but otherwise does not wear clothes. His webbed feet are converted into common bird's talons, and he always holds his staff in these claws at all times, though his combo attacks are unavailable in this form. His plumage is predominantly white, but the tips of his wings and tail feathers are blue. He has three tail feathers that curl deeply at the tips. In this form, Donald bears a vague resemblance to Zazu, the aid to the king of Pride Rock in The Lion King. Unlike in his other forms, he casts each magic spell three times in succession at the cost of one.

Kingdom Hearts II[edit]
The Wise Little Hen (1934)
The Royal Court Magician. He's traveling the worlds with Sora and Goofy in search of the King.
Donald's got new wings in this world. So, naturally, he got the hang of it right away.
Timeless River version[edit]
In Timeless River, Donald transforms into a monochromatic version of his original appearance in Disney cartoons. His shirt is black and the buttons, bowtie, collar, and stripes on it are white. His beak is grey and longer than it is in his normal form. His feathers are completely white, while his legs are black. Donald's eyes are large and simplified, and he wears his sailor hat—now white with a black rim and tassel—on the top of his head.
Journal entry[edit]
Kingdom Hearts II[edit]
The Wise Little Hen (1934)
The Royal Court Magician.
To save Disney Castle, Donald went through a doorway Merlin conjured up into a black-and-white world that seemed strangely familiar.
Space Paranoids version[edit]
In Space Paranoids, Donald's clothing is transformed into grey, robotic armor covered in glowing, cyan computer circuitry. His feet are also covered in this armor, and he wears similarly patterned gloves with black fingers and bulges at the cuffs reminiscent of the bracelets he normally wears. His beak becomes grey and his feathers remain white, but both have a faint blue tint due to the lights on Donald's armor and around Space Paranoids. In this form, Donald's weapons are also covered in circuitry.
Journal entry[edit]
Kingdom Hearts II[edit]

The Royal Court Magician. He left Disney Castle on a quest to find King Mickey.
Donald tried to use Ansem's computer to find the King, but his impatient banging caused the MCP to transport the three friends into the world inside the computer system.
Country of the Musketeers version[edit]
In Country of the Musketeers, Donald wears a musketeer uniform that matches Mickey's and Goofy's; however, as usual, Donald's has no pants or shoes. It consists of a red shirt and cream gloves, covered by a gold-trimmed blue tabard with a fluer-de-lis emblazoned on the chest. He also wears a wide-brimmed tan hat with a blue band, plumed with a large white feather. In this world, he uses an épée-style sword rather than his usual staves.
