| | The front page shows [[Riku]] sitting on the paopu tree. The back page shows [[Pluto]] sleeping next to his food bowl. |
| [[Riku]] pleads with [[Sora]] to join him in the darkness. When both are overcome by it, Sora is left floating in darkness when a light appears in the distance. Sora is then transported to the Secret Place, where he sees Kairi. Sora calls out to her, and she begins to fly towards him. Sora extends his arms to catch her, but she passes straight through him, insubstantial. At that point, he hears a [[Mickey Mouse|mysterious voice]] calling to him, urging him to keep his courage, as he possesses the mightiest weapon just as the [[Kingdom Key|Keyblade]] appears in his hand in a burst of light. | |
