Having been a Keyblade wielder for the past two years, Strelitzia had been fighting a long time and seen party members come and go. Over time, Strelitzia took notice of Player, who was always  waiting at the Fountain Square whenever she returned from her duties. One day, Strelitzia saw Player as they sat and waited for Ephemer, holding their Chirithy and crying when Ephemer did not show. Strelitzia saw Player from time to time after that during their missions and began to follow them instinctively. Though she could never muster the courage to speak with Player, Strelitzia could sense that there was something special about Player, as they saw things differently than everyone else. Although Player did not know her, Strelitzia came to see them as a friend, and looked forward to the day the two of them could talk to one another.

Strelitzia began to have doubts about becoming a Union leader because she felt uneasy about leaving those who were not Dandelions to take part in the Keyblade War. While searching for his sister, Lauriam seeks out Elrena, an acquaintance of Strelitzia's, in order to ask Elrena about the last time she had seen her. Although Elrena is only able to have her Chirithy explain that Strelitzia had been seen entering a building in the Seventh District, she takes it upon herself to investigate the building, wherein Elrena and Chirithy witness a projection of Streltzia's demise, which she promptly alerts Lauriam to.

While unconscious following his battle with Maleficent, Lauriam experiences a memory of his sister prior to the Keyblade War, only for it to be cut short when Strelitzia herself appears before Lauriam in a white coat. Beckoning to her brother, Strelitzia rises into the air and disappears, rousing Lauriam, who then limps up to the Foreteller's Chamber, where he overhears Brain question why Darkness would have targeted Strelitzia. Lauriam lashes out at the other Union leaders, which prompts Ventus to claim responsibility for what happened to Strelitzia. However, when Lauriam attempts to strike down Ventus, Darkness defends him - revealing it had struck down Strelitzia to satisfy what it had interpreted as Ventus's subconscious desire for power.

Although the Union leaders work together to defeat Darkness, it ends with Ventus losing consciousness, and Lauriam remains by his side while questioning what they should do if Darkness wasn't really gone, but rather, had become a part of Ventus. Strelitzia comes to her brother's aid, telling Lauriam that giving in to these negative emotions is just what Darkness wants, imploring him to let it go and asking what had become of her kind and loving brother. Shocked, Lauriam pivots, but when he turns around, Strelitzia is no where to be found. It is then that Ephemer enters Ventus's room to tell Lauriam that Elrena had come to see him. Elrena explains that her Chirithy had seen Strelitzia in Daybreak Town not long ago, and she had been with someone in a Black Coat - suggesting either Luxu or the Master of Masters. While none of them understand it, Brain suggests that - if everyone's data had been transferred over to Data Daybreak Town, then that could mean Strelitzia's data was there as well, and perhaps that meant someone had accessed it.

She seems to have a high opinion of Player, regarding them as a friend in spite of never formally introducing herself to them.
