Sliding Block (スライドガード Suraido Gādo , lit. "Slide Guard") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to quickly slide forward as they block.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Sliding Block is an ability panel that must be linked to Block ② or Block ④.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Sliding Block is a defense command that can equipped in the place of a Block-type command. It is triggered by pressing while stationary on the ground. When used, the user slides forward as they block, inflicting damage on any enemies in their path and launching then upwards. Sliding Block grants +2 to Defense when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.

- Sora and Riku can obtain Sliding Block as a Drop Bonus for 50 Drop Points after reaching Shop Level 6.
