Design
Webby is an anthropomorphic duckling with a yellow-orange beak, legs, and webbed feet, four-fingered hands, white plumage, thin, grey "eyebrows", white eyes with black pupils, and white hair reminiscent of a pixie cut. She wears a small, pink bow on the right side of her head, a pink and blue sweater vest, and a purple skirt.
Origin
Webbigail "Webby" Vanderquack first appeared in Disney's television series DuckTales, voiced by the late Russi Taylor. The granddaughter of Scrooge McDuck's housekeeper Mrs. Beakley, Webby often accompanies Scrooge and his companions on their adventures and seeks to be accepted by Huey, Dewey and Louie, who often disapprove of her presence. Her love of animals proves to be her greatest asset, allowing her to befriend all creatures around the world.
In the show's 2017 reboot, where she is voiced by Kate Micucci, Webby is reimagined as an enthusiastic fan of the McDuck family. Though she was raised by Mrs. Beakley to be a fighter and survivalist, she is also socially awkward, having lived most of her life in McDuck Manor. Throughout the series's first season, Webby aids Dewey in investigating the disappearance of the nephews' mother Della. Her friendship with a teenage duck named Lena also serves as a major plot point in the series.
