Birth by sleep?

I think, I think that the games title suggests that somone is created thru or by sleep, perhaps "Xion" was born in the "Room of SLEEP" seen in kingdom hearts 2, and is in some way the nobodie of Aqua, and perhaps Roxas is acctually the soul of Sora, and the body of Ventus, because they were both defeated in the battle with master Xhenort, and the only ones who survived were Terra, and the Xhenort that was apprenticed to Ansem who is the antagonist of the two main KH games.

I know it's not very coherant... but I think I'm onto somthing, just like how the Xehnort of the KH games is acctually the apprentice of the old bald guy in the movie, explaining why Xemnas would know Aqua well enough to adress her empty (But somhow still alive, it(she) talked back to him) armor as "friend".

He says "Correct my mistake! when ven is defeated by DS and in the coliseum. I think its safe to say theres a bigger villain, And Master Xehanort is trying to correct past mistakes.

Princesses of Heart

Just because we're kids doesn't mean we can't run a business— {{{time}}} I have a feeling that the Pricesses of Heart (Snow White, Aurora, Cindarella and maybe Belle) were captured during the events of BBS by Maleficent (and/or MX) ! and due to their stay in the pods in Hollow Bastion, they didn't Age! (Snow White, Aurora, Cindarella and Belle don't seem to age in those 10 years between BBS and KHI !) does anyone agree?

About the Princesses being captured, yes, I also think their search began way back in MX's time. MX was seeking for them too. They were forced into an enchanted sleep, so they didn't age. Though what puzzles me is this : if Snow White was actually captured in the time of Birth By Sleep, why the cutscene in the first Kingdom Hearts where if Wonderland is not completed, Snow White gets into Hollow Bastion ? The first Kingdom Hearts... when you complete Wonderland immediately after Traverse Town (if I'm not mistaken), there's a cutscene where the Disney villains gather in Hollow Bastion... and Alice stumbles into the Castle Chapel, wondering what that place is (she is captured soon after). If you complete any other world first after Traverse Town, then Alice is replaced by Snow White - which would seem like an anomaly because Snow White should've been captured in BBS itself... Beats me. Apparently, once the Princesses are captured, they're forced into an enchanted sleep. The only three Princesses of Heart (from what we've seen) who are energetic enough to attack are Kairi, Jasmine and Belle. Snow White looks too....... docile ! I think not! sure, Jaq may help Ven at times, but I doubt that he'll actually fight alongside him... and Jaq is the only "good" AI character I've seen that could possibly be a party member!

Keyblades?

Do Sora’s, Riku’s and King Mickey’s Keyblades appear in Birth by Sleep (like in the secret ending of KH II) or are they just there in the secret ending to represent the roles of the main characters. I mean have they been confirmed to appear? If so, then why would the Way to the Dawn Keyblade be there I thought it did not exist until, after the events of birth by sleep.

I'm pretty sure they appear. The Kingdom Key is the standard throughout the game, and so is the other half. I doubt Mickey's Keyblade will appear as he went to the Realm of Darkness to get it (and that takes place ten years after). I have a feeling that the Way to the Dawn is a Keyblade entity in itself, and that Soul Eater was only created based on that Keyblade. The secret endings are only concept videos, and if you notice, Terra, Aqua, and Ven, don't have those Keyblades in the newer secret ending.

Gameplay

Hey, does anyone have any clue about the gameplay of the game? There have been a few gameplay videos and I would have thought someone would have put a "Gameplay" section in this article already. I hope they do soon - the gameplay looks very good but is very confusing as unfortunately I can't read Japanese. I'm sure plenty of people will find it relieving and also somewhat useful.

HeartofOblivion Talk to me! — There was something important... Oh yes! I've decided on the pancakes. Blueberry! Can you get me some cotton candy? Blue, not PINK !!!! Did anyone else notice the Command Menu on these gameplay videos? [1] [2] To me, it looks like everytime a character attacks an enemy, their Command Menu bar (don't know what else to call it) fills up until they can use a Mode Change. I also noticed that their normal attacks under the Command Menu bar take time to load and that you can't use them until they load.

Yeah. Looks almost like a quick limit break. TBH, I hated using up magic for that thing. Maybe they fixed it so it's more Final Fantasy-ish? --Zack fair 007 16:53, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
