The Ribbon is an accessory introduced in Kingdom Hearts. In Kingdom Hearts II it's a type of armor.

In Kingdom Hearts II, the Ribbon is a thick, indigo-colored ribbon with a very small, silver pin on each of its ends.

In Kingdom Hearts, the Ribbon can be synthesized once the fourth list is unlocked.

In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, the Ribbon can be synthesized once the fifth list is unlocked.
