In the first trailer that came with the english game, terra's cape is black, ven's is white, and auqa's is blue, plus the hazy figure walking twords them at the end has his arms out next to him, walking normaly, with HUGE bracelets on his wrists... | |||

Not sure if this fits here but does anyone else find it strange how the dark orb in Xeanhort's hand has the pale yellow glow in it? Could it be Ven's heart? Yes Ven is still alive at the end however the pale yellow in the middle and the fact that KINGDOM HEARTS appears when it is cast upward is strange. Also coupled with new trailers it provides insight as to why Ven may want Aqua to "erase" him. | |||

It's easily seen at 1:05 right after he uses ice and the full chain can be seen at 1:09 when he flips onto the keyblade whirlwind to dodge Aqua's lightning. I don't believe them to be true Keyblades at all. Instead, I believe them to be actual swords made to look like a Keyblade. The fact that they have no keychains supports this theory. Soul Eater is also a sword made to look like a Keyblade, and the Keyblade Of People's Hearts was just incomplete, and most likely would have taken an entirely different form once completed. My theory is that Keyblades start out as simple weapons, like swords or clubs. Then, when the keychain is attached, it draws out the weapon's true potential, turning it into a Keyblade.
