Webby Vanderquack is a character in Kingdom Hearts Union χ. She is an excitable duckling who seeks adventure.
Story
Kingdom Hearts χ
Webby's power is channeled by the Book of Prophecies to create the Webby Vanderquack Medal.
Appearance
Webby is an anthropomorphic duckling with a yellow-orange beak, legs, and webbed feet, four-fingered hands, white plumage, thin, grey "eyebrows", white eyes with black pupils, and white hair reminiscent of a pixie cut. She wears a small, pink bow on the right side of her head, a pink and blue sweater vest, and a purple skirt.
Origin
Webby first appeared in Disney's television series DuckTales. The granddaughter of Scrooge McDuck's housekeeper Mrs. Beakley, Webby often accompanies Scrooge and his companions on their journeys and seeks to be accepted by Huey, Dewey and Louie, who often disapprove of her presence. Her love of animals proves to be her greatest asset, allowing her to befriend all creatures around the world.
A revamped version of Webby appears in the show's reboot. Still accompanying Scrooge and his group across their adventures, this incarnation of Webby is portrayed as an enthusiastic fan of the McDuck family, idolizing Donald Duck as one of the most daring adventurers of all time. Though she was raised by Mrs. Beakley to be an adventurer and fighter, she is also socially awkward, having lived most of her life in McDuck Manor. Throughout the series's first season, Webby aids Dewey in investigating the disappearance of the nephews' mother Della. Her friendship with a teenage duck named Lena also serves as a major plot point in the series.
In the original series, she is voiced by Russi Taylor, while in the reboot, she is voiced by actor and singer Kate Micucci.
