:He is as much of one as Pegasus, gameplay-wise.  --{{User:Neumannz/SigTemplate}} 17:18, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

::Then, I'm kind of reluctant to list them as assistant members who should, in my view, fight exactly like a Party Member would; the only difference is they don't have a health bar. Characters who only trigger a Reaction Command and don't fight (e.g. Phil, Cogsworth) aren't really the same thing and I don't think they should be in the same list as the likes of Leon and Cloud. Thoughts? {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 20:37, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
:::I agree. I think only characters who attack themselves (without having to use a Reaction Command) should count as assistant members. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 21:04, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
::::Should we still list the other characters who rely on Reaction Commands in a separate "Other allies" list? Also, what category does Minnie belong to because she uses Pearl independently, but relies on Sora to move around? {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 21:08, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
:::::If I remember correctly, you also have to protect her, and when she has too much damage, you lose. This could also disqualify someone as assistant, because instead of assisting you, they need assistance themselves. However, when Leon assists you in protecting the gate, he does count as an assistant, because he doesn't have a damage gauge himself, only the gate has one. So basically, if you will lose when the other character gets too much damage, that character is not an assistant. What do you think? {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 21:22, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
::::::So, it looks like you would like to separate them into three categories: assistants who engage in combat, assistants who don't, and escorted characters? (Bear in mind that every escorted character has a Reaction Command associated with them, and Minnie has both Faith (RC) and Pearl (independent attack).)  Am I understanding right?  --{{User:Neumannz/SigTemplate}} 22:05, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
:::::::Yes. And I think the escorted characters should get the highest priority, as it can cause a Game Over. So, Minnie would be an escorted character. The second highest priority should go to independent assisting characters, as they assist more. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 22:37, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
::::::::I'm not sure what your standard for "assisting more" is; you cannot defeat Beast without utilizing Cogsworth, for example.  --{{User:Neumannz/SigTemplate}} 23:02, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
:::::::::Well, I meant they do more, like move and attack on their own, almost like regular party members. {{User:TheSilentHero/Sig}} 10:37, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
So, I was looking at some KHII Ultimania scans, and the Ultimania lists Leon, Yuffie, Cloud, Tifa, Herc, Minnie, Pete, Mickey, and Axel as "Cooperation characters" (協カキャラクター), while Cogsworth, Phil, Meg, and Pegasus are "Other characters that appear in battle". :So there we have two different kinds of assists, ones that attack, and ones that don't.  --{{User:Neumannz/SigTemplate}} 22:31, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
Do they have a similar list in the KHBBS Ultimania? {{User:TheFifteenthMember/Sig1}} 22:43, 6 August 2015 (UTC)
