:Well, since Secret Gems have a 1% drop rate, there's a one in a hundred chance you'll get one. So basically, for every hundred Floods you kill, you'll get 1 Secret Gem. The game keeps track of how many you defeat, right? Oh, and after checking the page, it says you need to have a Shop Level of 7 or 8 to have a shot at Secret Gems. I'm not complaining about the drop rate. What's strange is that the floods are dropping megalixirs, which supposedly shouldn't happen at any shop level at all. Since I'm getting megalixirs, which is impossible, but not secret gems, did they change the drop from secret gems to megalixirs? | |||

Secret gem vs Megalixir[edit]
(Hopefully I'm doing this right) I've been grinding against these things for a while now. They haven't dropped any secret gems, but they HAVE dropped megalixirs. Is this a change introduced in 2.5? Or something we missed in the original Final Mix?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.191.140.4 (talk • contribs)
- Well, since Secret Gems have a 1% drop rate, there's a one in a hundred chance you'll get one.
- Could be...come to think of it, has anyone actually gone through BBSFM's data to find those kinds of mechanical changes? (KH2FM had a lot of similar changes in that direction; item drops being changed, techniques having power modifiers altered, etc.) Ultima Spark (talk) 13:07, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, there are no guides or ultimanias for BBSFM whatsoever, which is just super awesome.
- The best I can suggest is for the IP to kill a few hundred Floods, keeping track of their inventory before and after (preferably with screenshots, or backed-up save files for comparison)."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:26, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
