I was looking at the list of foretellers names, and I noticed that (even though there are only five of them) that their names are based off of the seven deadly sins. Namely: Invi looks like it is short for invidia (meaning envy), Gula is not even short for the latin word for the vice of Gluttony, Ira is latin for wrath, Aced looks like it is short for acedia which is latin for sloth, and finally Ava which looks like it is short for avarita which is latin for greed. I'm not sure if you guys want to include that, but I thought you might be interested.

:::Specifically, we've covered it on the [[Foreteller]] page, as well as the pages for each individual Foreteller (ex. [[Foreteller Invi]]). Thanks for your contribution, though. If you're interested, we could use a lot of help filling in plot info for x and unchained.{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 06:11, 19 April 2016 (UTC)

Translations

I know that the Union names are correctly transferred but some of the resulting Latin is wrong: Vulpeus should be Vulpes and it should be Leopardus (pardus is the panther). On the other hand all these names are designed to just sound like Latin, not real Latin (you don't say). So what's the correct translation now, real Latin names or the names SE created? Do we have an English version yet?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 07:44, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
No, and at the moment it's doubtful if there every will be an English version. SE's mobile and web games stay in Japan 99% of the time. ShardofTruth 08:13, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
Was "Vulpeus" ever an official romanization? Should we record it somewhere?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:58, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
Not that I know of, no. We've seen odder things around here, I don't think it's really that important. --ShardofTruth 16:38, 7 April 2016 (UTC)

Names of the foretellers based on sins?

I was looking at the list of foretellers names, and I noticed that (even though there are only five of them) that their names are based off of the seven deadly sins. Namely: Invi looks like it is short for invidia (meaning envy), Gula is not even short for the latin word for the vice of Gluttony, Ira is latin for wrath, Aced looks like it is short for acedia which is latin for sloth, and finally Ava which looks like it is short for avarita which is latin for greed. I'm not sure if you guys want to include that, but I thought you might be interested.
