- It's all purely theories at this point, but the latest story update to KHX seems to suggest the following:
- KHX is what happened before the Keyblade War.
- KHUX is a dream of the events we are reliving from within the Realm of Sleep, hence the presence of Dream Eaters (Chirithy).
- Tetsuya Nomura said the following in an interview back in December with KHInsider when asked why he said KHUX is "not exactly the same game" as KHX: "I cannot explain this without any spoilers but there is a connection between the two.
