I'd have to check a quote to be sure, but I'm fairly confident that Alice is stated to not be from Wonderland. Neverland, I feel, is a special case in that London is explicitly depicted as part of the world. However, a lot of these others are more in line with what we see with Beast, Sora, or Riku -- one way or another, they got pulled from their world into another, without using the Lanes Between as normally done. Honestly, Neverland seems to be the exception to the rule here, as we see it flying through the Lanes Between as a ship, but then it apparently immediately lands at Neverland world (which includes the sea, islands, and London).{{User:KrytenKoro/Sig}} 19:56, 9 January 2015 (UTC)

You're right, more or less.  Here's the quotes in question, when you first meet Alice.
Sora: That’s crazy! So, where are you from?
Alice: Hmm, curious. I can’t quite remember. You see, I found this
mysterious rabbit hole. When I tried to peek inside, I tumbled in head
over heels... And I found myself here.
Sora: So you’re from another world!
Goofy: That’s funny. Maybe you don’t need a ship, then.
Aside from establishing that Alice is another world hopper (which would explain why it took a while for them to find her, what with them probably searching for her back in London or wherever) it also hints at the later reveal of the Corridors of Darkness that Maleficent and her crew are using to go from world to world.
Fact of the matter is, Disney movies are full of "other worlds" like this, such as Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan.  Well, that last one is tricky.  In-game, London hosts Neverland's keyhole, which would suggest they're in the same world.  That fits the book.  "Second star to the left and straight on 'till morning" is actually nautical navigation to get to Neverland, an island hidden on Earth, making it the same world.  However, every interpretation of that line afterwards treats it as a description of the exact place in the sky where Neverland (treated as a world instead) can be found.  A storyboard for a deleted scene for Disney's Peter Pan even shows Wendy's return home as them flying on Hook's ship through space, collecting star dust and such along the way.  I think had Nomura had the time, he'd have stuck two keyholes in that overalll "world", one for Neverland as well, but it doesn't work too well to put it on Hook's ship and he didn't want to spend time making land sections of Neverland, so it probably just never happened.  My head cannon is that Mickey sealed that missed keyhole from the "other side", just like he did with the door to Kingdom Hearts at the end of the game, but that's just my fan theory, so officially Neverland/London are just "one world" so it's best to go with the book interpretation. {{Guest:DJ}} 12/5/2015

Revision as of 21:52, 5 December 2015

I need help editing the pages about some of the Princesses (specifically Alice, Belle and Jasmine). I have little knowledge as to what occured in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories with these characters. Thus, I cannot provide longer summaries of their adventures in this game. I plan to watch the gameplay on YouTube when I have time, but until then maybe someone else could lengthen the Chain of Memories sections on these pages a little?

Also, I think I can find images of the princesses, but I'm not sure what images I can and can't use. What's the dealio with that? Sorry for my ignorance, I'm new around here. ^_^

I'm confused with what is going on. If Alice wasn't born until three years after Birth By Sleep, who was the Princess of Heart until her birth? I am only saying this, but I think until she was five years old, Wendy could have been one. It is probably why she was kidnapped, I'm not so sure. Has anyone got anything to say?

FA icon.png It took them ten whole years to capture the Princesses of Heart, so maybe at that time, there were only three who had the purest of hearts. The rest were discovered later. As in, much later.

But what really puzzles me is this : if Snow White was captured in Birth By Sleep, then how come, say, if we complete Deep Jungle before completing Wonderland, Snow White of all people stumbles into Hollow Bastion ?

I AM NOT SURE FOR MYSELF! Sorry about the anger thing. But what if they said there were seven in the game?

Actually, that has been confirmed in the game. If you beat Deep Jungle before completing Wonderland, Snow White will appear in the cutscene instead of Alice.

Its probably a gaming thing they've planned just in case if players didn't go to Wonderland first. Personally, I'd prefer to wait until BBS comes out. Who knows? maybe the game will be more focused on the other princesses that didn't get much screen time like Alice, and Jasmine.

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png I thought Jasmine did get substantial screen time in KHII......

As Amy said, Alice wouldn't have been born by then ; if her age was 7 in Kingdom Hearts then she'd have been born, say, 3 years after BBS.

Wasn't the disney version of alice a bit older? like 10 to 12?

Probably. I'll go check on Wikipedia.
I never found her real age, but I looked at some Alice in Wonderland movies and each one has a different age: 10, 13, 14, 16, 22. She might be older than 7, y'know.

Hopefully, Alice's real age (if she is on the game) or anything to do with all the girls

I do have a theory of my own. If Alice really was seven in Kingdom Hearts, then it might implies that there were other Princesses of Heart before the ones we know. But that's just my theory.

Amy Cotton - Er, thank you?

Good question. We we'll have to wait and see. We'll know once Birth By Sleep comes out

If they release the news after the game... they might keep it hidden like they did with Coded

I don't think Wendy has anything to do with the Princesses of Heart, as stated in the game, Hook isn't very bright. But i believe the mistake was made because maybe Wendy's heart either doesn't have darkness, or doesn't have alot. Yet again, who knows?--PrincessAndie8thprincessofheart 14:49, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png You've got a point. Wendy's heart had little darkness. Almost none, that's why she would've been considered as a Princess of Heart.

@Amy Cotton : Francophone wiki says it : Alice's age is 7. Anyone has the Ultimania guide ? If so, can you guys like, please tell us what it says about Alice's age ?

For that matter, what the heck were the Princess; doing during Kingdom Hearts II? If they returned to their homeworlds, like Kairi and Jasmine, why the heck did Mickey, Yen Sid, or DiZ not think it was at all important to protect them?

User:Charmed-Jay 04:42, 3 May 2009
Maybe there was no reason to provide protection. Remember in the first "Kingdom Hearts"? They were only captured by Maleficent because they wanted to use their hearts to open the door to darkness. In "Kingdom Hearts II", Xemnas wanted to create a new pathway to Kingdom Hearts, not open it through the original ways. Plus there's already too much light running around Hollow Bastion by the time Sora and the others woke up from their one-year slumber.

I got something to say. It's more of a pet peeve then anything related to what your talking about right know. WHY IS SHE CONSIDERED TO NOT BE A PRINCESS IN THE ARTICLE! If any of you remember from the end of the movie, she walks away with her nanny towards a GIENT CASTLE!!! I can understand if you didn't see it right away, it is colored almost the same as the sky, but watch it again and look at the background. You will see that there is a very large castle there. Also, did anyone actauly read the book, if not I am going to add the REAL Origin. Not the Disney movie one, the one form the book. If anyone has any objections on that, tell me now or forver hold your peace.

OK, I'm done venting, enjoy the rest of your day! XD Gnut2.0 05:40, 28 June 2009 (UTC)Gnut2.0

No, don't add her oriign from the book. The book may have come first, but this isn't about the original Alice. It's about the Alice form Disney's version. 24.165.55.239 04:08, October 9, 2009 (UTC)
