The Flame Box uses Fire magic. It starts by spouting one fireball from its mouth, and then another, and then another. On occasion, there will be two, or three. These fireballs can be extinguished by attacks or magic. For the early stages, keep locking on to each fireball and fending it off with the player character's attacks.
The Unversed mission for the Flame Box can be found in the Waterside area of the [[Enchanted Dominion]].

If a player character successfully extinguishes its fireballs enough times, it will spout several fireballs at once! Up to seven or eight can appear at a time. Here it is recommended to use spells or attacks with fairly wide ranges, such as [[Thundaga]], [[Deep Freeze]], [[Meteor]], [[Glacier]] or a wide-range finisher.

Take care not to get hit by the descending fireballs, however, as they will deal a fair bit of damage.

Here it is recommended to use spells or attacks with fairly wide ranges, such as [[Thundaga]], [[Deep Freeze]], [[Meteor]], [[Glacier]] or a wide-range finisher. Shotlocks are also an effective way to extinguish the airborne fireballs, particularly when the Flame Box spouts several fireballs at once. It may be useful to keep a few ethers stocked in the command deck to keep the focus gauge full and ensure shotlocks are constantly available.

Make sure to keep a reasonable distance from the Flame Box at all times so you can easily lock on to and extinguish the fireballs as they are launched, and the 3-star rank for this Unversed mission should be attained relatively easily.
