EDIT : Now I remember something. The ''Forteresse'' that we saw in KH1 could be very well the "castle under reconstruction" in KHII. Because from what I know (I think I saw this in the Ansem Reports, though I might be wrong) HB was heavily modified for Xehanort's project. I'm pretty sure that once the Keyhole of the world is consumed, what is left is only the remnant of the world (think Destiny Islands). The ''Forteresse'' could be the remnant of HB that Xehanort '''needed''' to preserve, in order to get along with his plan.

{{Cecil|text=It was added in the Trivia section that this world looks similar too FFVII's Shinra, I don't see a resemblance, but, even if there's any, since I saw the BBS Version of Radiant Garden I ''have'' found a stronger similarity to another FF location, Balamb and Galbadia Gardens. To explain, both are "floating" or "hovering", both have a ring below them, in the FFVIII Garden's case, these are flotation rings, in Radiant garden they might just be for style and to hold the water jets, but they look very alike, except of course that the FFVIII gardens are much more technological and are schools, RG is a castle. And let's not forget that they are both named "Gardens". What do you think, is it Trivia worthy?}}
If you can back it up- Hollow Bastion and Midgar are similar, but keep in mind that Kingdom hearts was designed to have a different style, but still retain somethings. I doubt that one of the main KH original worlds would be built after a FF one, and gardens are just a good,

{{LyingMemories|time=[[User:Lying Memories|Lying Memories]] 06:40, February 10, 2010 (UTC)|text= So, every time I add into the trivia that since Ansem the Wise isn't the ruler of Radiant Garden anymore after his "death" (subject to change since we found out he never died and is in the Realm of Darkness with Aqua), Leon can be considered the TEMPORARY ruler/leader/role model type person of Radiant Garden until a permanent one could be found. Can someone explain why that keeps getting taken down? Cuz its not speculation, cuz if it is, then all the other tidbits of info that are on articles that use words like "assuming", "considered", "if blah blah blah is applied", and whatnot need to be taken down, since they too fall into the category of speculation. I never once said tho that the entire HBRC were the rulers, I'm just saying Leon is like a morale leader for all the other people. Can we AT LEAST put in there something about it being rulerless, like maybe one of the few worlds with no ruler ( others being TWTNW, End of the World, Neverland cuz no one ever said who their leader was, Peter Pan i'm guessing, and i don't know i think there are more.)? So a number of you have probably already noticed this, but the name Radiant Garden seems to hint at a connection to the Gardens from FFVIII (Balamb, etc.). One of the pictures (the birth by sleep one) in particular looks like the flying Gardens from FFVIII. Any word on this and if it's more than just speculation? Considering the connection between the two games and the fact that Squall/Leon is from there, I feel like it was intentional. It'd be nice to confirm though. jse334
I find it funny that eight members of Org. XIII came from Radiant Garden (excluding Sora's Heartless/Nobody creation), and then there's the connection people make between RG and FFVIII. Seems like 8 is a very important number here. Of course, whether or not they intentionally used the number eight for a connection to FFVIII is beyond me.
Lying Memories 20:16, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

KHII world image[edit]
Is it really the exact same as the Hollow Bastion image? If so, we need to rename File:Hollow Bastion KHII.png to "Radiant Garden KHII.png"Glorious CHAOS! 05:43, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
Heartless[edit]

Non-dark enemies[edit]
Claymore (during Space Paranoids episodes)
Something like Claymore also appears in ReCoM at Castle Oblivion.
Of course, by its nature, it could be considered a trap like the guillotine in Halloween Town, since you can't destroy it. It might just be mentioned in the area descriptions for both worlds (since it is permanent).
Also, Honey Bee shows up as a full-fledged enemy at Twilight Town and 100 Acre Wood. Have we ever gotten a render of the bees? Can anyone extract one?Glorious CHAOS! 03:56, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Dark Depths[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts II, the Dark Depths area of Hollow Bastion becomes the name of an area in Radiant Garden which contains a large cliff overlooking the remains of Maleficent's old castle. The Dark Depths can be reached if one proceeds through the Great Maw, and it is also where the player has the option to face Sephiroth in a boss battle. When Cloud faces Sephiroth, their battle also takes place in this area.
A Small Error[edit]
The mention of Terra-Xehanort trying to 'release his darkness by throwing himself into the dark realm' (or whatever the exact line was) conflicts with other explanations of that scene on this site. If I'm not mistaken, Terra-Xehanort attempted to lock Terra's influence out of his heart, but failed when he locked his own (Master Xehanort's) influence as well.24.215.77.122 18:33, December 19, 2010 (UTC)Xabrin
- What happens is that Terra managed to take control of the body for long enough to lock away both of their hearts."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:30, December 20, 2010 (UTC)

Japanese Name[edit]
RG has its Japanese name: Kagayakeru Niwa (輝ける庭 ). Should we add it to somewhere? Or is it just a translation of the worlds name? Pea14733 ---- [光] 19:19, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

- Here. The Kanji name appears after the Katakana name. Pea14733 ---- [光] 14:22, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
- However it's pronounced in-game should take precedence. The kanji is probably just there to provide the intended meaning to those who wouldn't understand otherwise (furigana, or at least the game's attempt at it). The novels do this at times as well. Ultima Spark (talk) 00:56, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
- Even then, it's the official just-there-to-provide-the-meaning of the world's name. Maybe we should add it in the infobox under the Katakana name? Pea14733 ---- [光] 17:32, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
After watching the cutscene in Japanese, I conclude that it's just Aerith translating "Radiant Garden" into Japanese after she says it in English. I'm not sure about putting it in the article, but I'd say definitely not in the infobox. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 19:48, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
Logo change in 2.5 HD Remix[edit]
In the HD Remix the "the" of Radiant Garden seems to be omitted: [1] --92.78.56.125 11:15, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Geography[edit]
Each room should be able to get a short paragraph about it; furthermore, the use of the second-person should be zealously avoided. In-universe all the way, chaps."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:55, 7 January 2015 (UTC)
