Synopsis
Riku summons a portal of darkness, promptly leaving. Before he does, he is sure to add how Sora can't save Kairi. Riku in parting leaves the group to fight the giant Heartless from before.
Riku is shown on a pirate ship, standing before a sleeping Kairi. Maleficent soon appears, saying without her heart, Kairi will never wake up. She then goes on to explain the Seven Princesses of Heart, and how they can be used to open the door to the heart of all worlds. It is here that Riku will be able to find a way to retrieve Kairi's heart. Maleficent finishes, granting Riku the power to control the Heartless.
Back in Monstro, the group successfully defeats the Parasite Cage. Jiminy successfully awakens Pinocchio- who, in reality, was only pretending to lose his heart. Everyone heads back to Geppetto, who has finished building his Gummi Ship. Although small in size, the ship is able to hold four passengers. Geppetto begs Sora, Donald, and Goofy to take Pinocchio to safety. Geppetto urges the group to hurry, revealing the bonfire he had already started. With it, Monstro will sneeze, forcing the group out of him. Geppetto pushes the group and Pinocchio inside the small Gummi Ship, claiming to make one for himself and rejoin them later.
Monstro eventually sneezes...freeing Geppetto and Pinocchio, as well as the trio. In a brief flashback, it is shown that Sora, Donald, and Goofy left on their own Gummi Ship. Due to the great force of Monstro's sneeze, the group's Gummi Ship is sent flying into another world. Looking out the window, the group determines it to be an aquatic one.
