Logo for The Realm of Sleep Forum Archives. I decided to go KH3D and go for a slight magenta/pink accent.

Heartless Emblem.pngWhile strolling through the wiki (strolling?) I noticed that the section on how to obtain Keyblades is different for some. Some, like Three Wishes, say the major plot event that occurred directly before you get it (in this case, 'Lock the Keyhole in Agrabah'). Some, like Hero's Crest, say what the player must do in order to obtain it (in this case, 'Defeat the Hydra'). Finally, some, like Monochrome, say the very general thing the player must do (in this case, 'Clear Timeless River'). In order to remain consistent, I think we should decide how we're gonna do it and remain consistent for all normal Keyblades.
For the Three Wishes, you get it after locking the Keyhole (and Aladdin gives it to you during that same cutscene). For the Hero's Crest, you get it after defeating the Hydra (literally as soon as it dies). For the Monochrome, you get it after you've finished Timeless River and you return to the world map (i.e., you clear Timeless River).
They are actually all equally precise."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 03:06, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
Ok I get the last two, but about Three Wishes, why would we say 'Lock the Keyhole in Agrabah' instead of 'Defeat Genie-Jafar'? Heartless Emblem.png I never said most of the things I've said Heartless Emblem.png 03:17, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
Because you don't get it after you defeat Genie-Jafar. You get a Fire Element and an Ansem's Report. You get it after locking the Keyhole, from Aladdin (as thanks for locking the keyhole).
When a "get" parameter says "defeat X", it means X literally drops the item when defeated. The thing will pop up the second the boss is defeated, possibly while the boss is still shown dying."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:44, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
