BOSS: DATA-RIKU
{{Template:WRCOHBoss
STRATEGY: Data-Riku is a powerful boss that deals quick yet strong attacks. Never carry out two combos against him in a row as he often teleports behind you, blocks or counter-attacks. Also, do not attack him while he is blocking in case he counter-attacks while it is possible to attack him from behind. Dodge most of his attacks by dodge rolling. During his second fight he employs faster strikes and counter-attacks so it is safer to only attack after you block. In the third and final battle, he is at his strongest and now utilizes attacks, like Dark Firaga. In particular, watch out for his Dark Aura attack that has him teleporting in and attacking you at all different angles. Try dodge rolling to avoid this.

The floor's challenge requires you to use a Finish command within a set time however Data-Roxas has an attack that casts Clock Rewind on you. This can be cured by using the {{Wtext|Heat Sink Belt|a}}, which grants immunity to that status effect.

Hollow Bastion

TREASURE TABLE

Goofy KH.png

Following Maleficent and Pete's mischief and a series of cutscenes, you'll find yourself in Hollow Bastion I in pursuit of Pete.

You'll first be at the Castle Gates, unable to break blocks or damage enemies since Data-Sora had lost his Keyblade. Being careful of the Danger Blox, head north and examine the large gates Pete went through. Data-Sora can't open it and needs to find another way. Return south and then go east to examine the platform that's there. It'll take you down into the Waterway.

There are coloured switches here that activate if you get to them in time. Go east and do the first one to open a gate. Pass through it and then go through the obstacle course of blocks to the west. Turn around the corner, avoid the Blox Bug that appears, and then unlock the next switch by going through a second obstacle course. This causes a lever to glow that, when examined, unlocks the large doors in the Castle Gates that Pete went through. Return there and enter through the doors to reach the Entrance Hall (LL)

Pete will trap you between walls of Bug Blox containing Heartless. Hold out against them by dodging their attacks and being wary of the bounce and danger blocks in the room. Eventually, Goofy will rescue you and become a party member after a happy reunion. More Heartless come out to commence your first battle together, starting with a tutorial on the new mechanics. In short, using the Ask for Help command cycles between Goofy breaking blocks, attacking foes and following you. Additionally, attack commands in your deck are converted into commands for Goofy. With this in mind, battle the Heartless by leaving Goofy on the "attacking foes" setting while you dodge attacks and activate commands when possible. Afterwards, Goofy will mention that he got separated from Donald. Go north and examine the strange-looking door to find out that you must find four "emblem pieces" to open it. This discovery enables you to go through the west door to Library 1. Before you do, break the Rare Prize Blox to the east to obtain a Cura.

This room has an emblem piece placed in the centre and a red switch in the corner that you can't activate. Go back to the Entrance Hall (LL) to see a snippet of Donald. Follow him out to the Castle Gates and on the way, use Goofy to destroy all the blocks in the corridor in the centre of the map. This allows you to jump up bounce blocks and metal blocks until you reach a Rare Prize Blox containing an Aero +1, in the north-east corner. Now, destroy the Rare Prize Blox, containing a Debug Device: R, towards the south-east corner. Then, use the bounce blocks towards the wall to reach a higher platform that has a Rare Prize Blox with a Lucky Strike inside.

Now get back to following Donald and take the lift down into the Waterway once again. As soon as you enter, destroy the wall of blocks to the west to find a Rare Prize Blox containing an Esuna behind it. Then go through the same obstacle course as before, although you can tell Goofy to break some of the danger blocks now. Break the wall of blocks and go past it to find new areas. Activate a timer-switch in the north-west and an avalanche of blocks will bar your way. Use Lock-On to get Goofy first destroy the blocks necessary to make a path to the next switch. A wall of hard blocks also block you but you can easily destroy this by making Goofy destroy the Blast Blox at the centre of it. This will also break a nearby Rare Prize Blox containing a Blizzaga. Unlock the switch to open a gate and use a Potion if needed. Then, go through the next segment and do another timed switch-sequence which involves breaking down a wall of hard blox and a Rare Prize Blox containing an Exo Spark. Taking advantage of Goofy's converted commands and the blast blox behind the wall, significantly decrease the time taken to destroy the wall. The end result of this sequence opens up a gate allowing you to reach Donald, who joins your party and unlocks the Spinner Ray finisher. He also activates red-tinted switches. If you backtrack south above where the first obstacle course is, you'll find a new passage unlocked to the east that has a Magic +1 Rare Prize Blox and the second emblem piece.

Return to the Castle Gates and break a wall of blocks hiding a switch, near to the northern door. Activate it to do another timed sequence where you have a minute to cross the large, metal block platform to the south and get to the switch on the other side. This requires you to climb up moving blocks so use your platforming skills are required. At the other end, there's a Rare Prize Blox containing a Defense +1, immediately to the north. Go further west and jump over a mass of blocks to find another emblem piece. Then, jump up the staircase of metal blocks and follow the path until it bends towards the north. Get your party members to clear the danger blocks out of the way before using the bounce blocks to get to the Rare Prize Blox, containing an Aero Resistance +3. Once you're done, go back to the Entrance Hall (LL) and then to Library 1.

You can now use Donald to activate the switch in the corner, which slides back a bookcase so that the party can enter the door behind it, leading to Library 3. In here, complete the switch-sequence by calling the party to break the danger blocks so that you can go through the ghost blocks, once they're empty. A new door is available so go through it to get to Library 4. Do the timed sequence in this room by climbing up the ghost block stairs in the south-east corner then following the path. When you reach the bounce blox wall, jump on the bookcase to the west and then follow the path again to reach the end switch. Before you enter the new door, break the Rare Prize Blox on top of the bookcase to the west to obtain a Cure +3. The door leads you back to Library 3 but on top of the bookcases. There's a Rare Prize Blox with a Firaga immediately towards you when you enter the room. If you jump to the platform of metal blox, you can reach the bookshelves to the east and find a Rare Prize Blox containing a Thunder +3. Go into the little space in the north-west and enter the door to reach Library 2. Do the switch-sequence which has three columns of blocks, one with the end switch on top, one with a Rare Prize Blox containing Mega Flare, and the last empty. The three columns are reversed and swapped around many times but keep an eye on what has the treasure and what has the switch. Once the timer starts, direct the party to break the column with the treasure and then the one with a switch. Finishing this opens the door to the [[Entrance Hall (UL}|Entrance Hall (UL}]].

This room has another switch sequence that causes the final emblem piece to appear in the centre of the room, once completed. Grab it then fall into the darkness to get to the Entrance Hall (LL) and slot the pieces in the door. Go through it to land at the Great Crest, where you must defeat a bunch of Heartless. Afterwards, you'll get to the High Tower that has yet one more switch sequence. It's straightforward and has a Rare Prize Blox containing a Thunder Resistance +2, near the end switch. Once it's complete, descend down to the lower platform in the south-west and examine the pipes to the east. Data-Sora will notice that they're a bug and you'll need to do a System Sector to undo them. Go back to the higher platform and go around the curve to find the backdoor at a spot where the outline of a door is visible. Since you still don't have a Keyblade, the sector is a little trickier however it only has two floors. The first challenge is to use the Finish command and destroying blocks helps in doing that. The second challenge is much simpler as it only involves defeating a certain number of Heartless The sector's rewards are:

Once it's completed, you can go back and find the pipes have disappeared. Go down there, where the save point is, and go through the door, where Pete will nearly crush Donald and Goofy to death. At this point, Data-Sora recovers his Keyblade and saves the two. When Mickey also appears, Pete runs away into a Keyhole so Data-Sora follows him, insisting that he does this alone. At the Keyhole / Chapel, you must fight Pete
