Synopsis

While the Heartless continue their search for the Princess and the Keyhole, Jafar muses how he is now the ruler of Agrabah. Maleficent enters, asking if Jafar has capturered any who would stand in their way. She asks about Jasmine's whereabouts, to which Iago confirms she has gotten away. Maleficent reminds Jafar of how important the Princess is, stating that all seven princesses are key to opening the final door. Jafar asks if that is when they become the supreme rulers of the universe. Maleficent simply advises Jafar not to let himself be consumed by the Heartless.

Jasmine, now safe, has overheard the villian's discussion. She comments on how Jafar has gained control of Agrabah. While she and Abu are hiding, she wonders about Aladdin's safety, only to be ambushed by a group of Heartless.

The scene shifts to the desert, where a daydreaming Aladdin tells a stuck Sora, Donald, and Goofy about Jasmine. Aladdin mentions how he could never get a princess to fall for someone like him. The trio say otherwise, with Donald eventually reminding Aladdin of their current predicament. Now out of his daydream, Aladdin reveals a lamp, summoning the Genie within it.
