| I don't get it if they won't make an return then whats the point of putting it in the first game? Also who the heck enforce the copyright of Edgar, isn't he dead or something? Is it because maybe he had some relative or somethone to enfocre the copy right?-Cococrash11 | | I don't get it if they won't make an return then whats the point of putting it in the first game? Okay, it's very hard to gauge on this one : we can't consider Mrs Potts and Chip "temporary residents", yet in the Camp, right outside the tent, there's a box (or was it a table ?) where some stuff can be seen. Among them is a teapot and a cup which bear an uncanny resemblance to Mrs Potts and Chip.
Where do we place this bit of info, then, if not under Temporary Residents ?

I think that is is mere coincidence! I think that Disney has a habit of reusing stuff...
the following image is taken in the Tarzan ride in Disneyland:

As you can see, it bears a striking resemblance to Mrs Potts and Chip, but it is, however, not them!

It was just a visual gag in the movie that they decided to use it in the game because it was easy. As anybody knows, Disney movies recently had visual gags connecting to other movies of theirs. the most well known one was the Genie and how he kept changing into them such as Pinocchio, Sebastian, Pumbaa, Tigger, Pluto etc. When making the game, its easy to say that SE wanted to use that gag of the tea set in Deep Jungle because it was easy to use. So I wouldn't really count them as official characters in the game.

Yup, pretty much just a classic Disney sight gag. The queen mother of all Disney movie sight gags is, of course, pretty much all of Enchanted. Even my friend the die-hard Disney fan has trouble spotting them all.

Return of Deep Jungle?
Will this world ever make a return? Should it return? Tarzan didn't exactly leave that big of an impression on Sora and co. MezzoDragon 23:31, 14 April 2009 (UTC)

Your HEAD ! Tarzan was the one who brought Sora and Donald together after what would've severed their friendship. And having said thus, it should return.
The only reason why it wouldn't return is because Edgar Rice Burroughs, the owners of Tarzan, are not permitting Disney and SE to use it.
Either way, think : I'd rather Monstro never made a return. Deep Jungle is way better.

I hear that, Deep Jungle had a very BIG part in the KH series as any other world did. Besides what TNE said, Clayton was also a representation of Darkness. Cause the world was heartless free until he gave into the darkness to hunt down the gorillas. Unfortunately, the only way we can see a return of the world is if SE and Disney are willing to give more cash to the Edgar Rice Burroughs copyright.

@MezzoDragon : Try appreciate this critically : Donald and Sora had a riff in the Gummi Ship. Had there been no Deep Jungle, no Tarzan peacemaker to remind Sora and Donald about the importance of the heart, there would be no more Trinity. As in, the union between Sora, Donald and Goofy would've stopped there, and it'd be difficult to bring the story back. It may have been a small part, but just like any other world, it has its importance. Deep Jungle's importance is central to Sora's story if you look at it.
(Critical appreciation in Literature class has really helped me a lot.)

They put it in the first game... because back then, Disney was still airing the Tarzan animated series. They still had rights. It was during the development of Chain of Memories that their permission was revoked. And yes, when we mention the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs, we obviously mean family/relatives.

Actually, it would be much more appropriate to expand the Vine Swinging article, seeing as it's a mini-game. There may not be much to it, but I think enough could be added to warrant its own entry. I will add an improvement template to it.

It says that hippos weren't present in the world, but that's a complete boldface lie. When you exit the tent, make a left and enter into that new area, there are two hippos in the water. You use them as a way to get out of the water. I'm taking that bit down.

Wow, that false trivia was there since April 24th until you deleted it. In fact people have edited it a couple times without deleting it. Did people forget that there were hippos there? In fact I have Kingdom Hearts so if I saw that earlier, I would have deleted it. SeanWheeler 22:11, October 18, 2010 (UTC)
Memories
I've been thinking about this for a long time. Since Deep Jungle wasn't in Chain of Memories, does that mean that Sora lost all memory of this world? I know that it isn't canon, but I would like to know. --TobiasHawk (talk) 14:21, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

- Deep Jungle is canon. Just because it probably won't appear again in the series, doesn't mean it's not canon anymore. As for your question, I have no idea :P TheFifteenthMember 15:21, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- Naminè restored all memories of Sora though (with the exception of the "hidden stuff") so even if the memories of Deep Jungle were completely forgotten in Castle Oblivion they should back again. ShardofTruth 15:25, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
