I'm all up for a HD remakes, the only things I'm concerned about are the same as everyone else's, namely ERB issues (thanks to John Carter of Mars, ERB will probably NEVER let Disney touch any of their stuff ever again), gameplay changes, FM issues, and of course, fan reactions. I now fully suport one for KHII{{Uxie-TT|*|Can't wait to see Space Paranoids in HD, already}}, but I'm still concerned for the original, because of Deep Jungle's censorship. I've got two trilogies in HD (''Jak and Daxter'', and ''Ratchet & Clank''), and their plotlines, gameplay and whatnot are the same as the original version, only with trophies and (in R&C:UYA's case) multiplayer through the PlayStation Network. So it could be possible that the gameplay and plots of the KH games in HD would be exactly the same as with the regular versions (plus the trophies).

eEB612q.png No, the other wiki doesn't have this under news, I might as well go add it onto the Trinity Archives

Well, not under news, but they still got to it first. I refuse to take credit for this.AlVan 00:15, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Anyway, I find the HD remakes more intriguing, especially, if they get their own FM version so Numora can troll us some more.

678FMS.png HD remakes? Oh, great. This will REALLY get the series going, when we just want to see how the story goes. (I'm being sarcastic)

Besides, now they have to re-write the story to try to exclude Deep Jungle. There is no way ERB inc would allow their world to re-appear.

Hey guys, you never know. HD remake could mean a lot of things for Nomura. I'm kind of hoping it means that he'll take the story and render it in HQ and make it into a movie. It would be far less production than moding the game, and could catch up anybody who wants to get into he series.

No movie remakes, although a sequel would be okay. A remake movie would be stupid, a game sounds easier anyway as long as all they're doing is editing the originals to fit the standards. A movie would just be a pale shell of the original. Ever seen the The Last Airbender?

AlVan, you do realize that it is a LOT more complicated then just "editing the originals", right? The entire game needs to be recreated in HD for the console, and changes to gameplay would have to be made as well.

That's what I meant by editing to fit new standards. They can't change gameplay to much to where it would be different if that's what you mean.

eEB612q.png Because when you remake a game in HD you just HAVE to change the gameplay. Many games from the PS2 have been HD'd and they've not changed 1 thing in gameplay. Tome Raider Trilogy is a perfect example of that.

@Erry, so you're telling me that they are gonna release a collection of KHI and II, and they aren't gonna change the controls of the first game at all, or implement any reaction commands, even if only for limits and saving, and they aren't gonna add another command list column with 'Summon' and 'Party'? Those are the types of changes I mean. Also, as Uxie points out, whether Deep Jungle could be included is also in jeopardy.

@Lapis: KH better not take the path of Street Fighter

eEB612q.png They probably won't do anything besides rewriting the story to exclude Deep Jungle, or they'll probably make an add-on for Deep Jungle that makes it free which means Disney and SE won't be making money off Deep Jungle

480MS.png The best way to make sence with a KH1 re-make is to put that gummi found in Deep Jungle (in the original) in another world, which would be either Olympus Coliseum, Wonderland or Agrabah. The option of a new world to replace Deep Jungle is a maybe, but I doubt it will be a good idea, since almost every world was destroyed by KH1.

I'm unsure about a KH HD remake, because there is already a major plothole with Deep Jungle, there is already a remake, and this will only push the inpaticene for new worlds. I'm already sick of Agrabah, Wonderland and Olympus Coliseum repeating the same plot.

Still, KH1 will become a retro game if people are to hate the re-make, and you know how much people love retro games over the newer games (take Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, for example; fans prefer the classic games in both serieses. There will be a new Spyro game out soon, and already do people hate it. This remake will only boost the popularity of the classic KH1).

Since it is, in a way, the same game, maybe Square would be allowed to use Deep Jungle again just this time. The limits in KHI will probably use the triangle button this time but that should be it.
